Nope. Take the predator.

No. I don't think Diggs is the kind off guy we want, and not Rivera's kind either. Talented yes, but too temperamental.

Dude...you want diggs. DC guy & skins fan, a straight burner outside and a better route runner than theilen in Minny.

Give me Diggs in his prime...diva quality, but he is a phenomenal big play receiver

As far as that trade. It’s not gonna happen, but I want CY.

What? Gary Clark was temperamental. Who cares. NFL locker rooms are filled with all kind of personalities and it's the coaches job to manage it.

I'd rather have Amari Cooper over Diggs but wouldn't be mad either way

I'd rather have Diggs honestly.

yeah...me too. Give me the more passionate dude than what you saw in Dallas end of season with Amari sitting on the bench looking like he could careless.

Thats my concern w Amari. Reading the fans over in cowboyszone ... there is a consensus that he can tune in or tune out of games, unreliable and may not "love" football.

I dont want guys who dont "love" football. Plus, like many here have said, use that money on TE, OL, CB, MLB, FS etc

-------------------------------------

Im surprised theres not more veteran FA activity right now. Greg Olsen signed and I think one other player signed. But isnt there usually more vet released FA activity?

Re: Offseason Roster Moves Thread

We're probably not going to get either Amari or Diggs.

The Vikes will not let Diggs go, as they need to keep their team intact for one more year before Cousins bolts for free agency. Plus, we don't have the resources to trade for him.

And for Cooper, he is likely heading for a big free agency payout, and honestly I'd rather bring in a guy to compete for the #2 WR spot. I'd rather spend money elsewhere (TE, DB, O-Line).

In the end, I agree with this...

Re: Offseason Roster Moves Thread

The trouble with spending so much money for Cooper is it hurts you for all the other FA holes we need to fill. Signing Hooper or Henry at TE costs half as much as Cooper. Henry and Hooper are not elite, but they’re very good. I think the team will DRAFT for the WR#2 position. Kyle Smith did extremely well last year at getting WR talent from all levels of the draft and UDFA. They’ll use Kyle to get a WR#2 to compete with Harmon.

I also think they’ll bring in Tre Boston at FS to complement Collins. I still think they may try to bring back Kendall Fuller at CB, maybe to compete with other CB FA. I don’t think they can put all their hopes on Fuller making a comeback.

I wouldn't go after a big name WR, go bargain hunting there and if you're going to spend $$ do it at the TE position

Agree totally. Right now we don’t have ANYTHING at TE.

Get a cheap WR#2 FA to compete with Harmon. Plus Kyle Smith has really done an amazing job of getting talented WR from the draft and the depths of the UDFA. He’s done it two years in a row at that position. One of my biggest disappointments was how Trey Quinn had a totally busted season. Getting two hot starters like MacLaurin and Steve Sims in one offseason is great - especially when you look at the sorry history of WR busts the Redskins have had in the last 20 years. I can’t remember all the high draft picks like Doctson that went nowhere. I hope Kyle can keep it going. Getting a rookie starter at WR #2 would really set up Haskins as well as the best TE on the FA market.

Re: Offseason Roster Moves Thread

I don't know if this is legit but Jeff Howe from the Athletic is reporting that Ravens might be looking to trade Hayden Hurst. I wouldn't mind if Redskins give up late round pick for Hurst - Hurst was drafted in first round although the fact that Hurst couldn't beat Mark Andrews is something we need to consider but at this point, Hurst is better than any TEs we have on our roster.

If Redskins manage to sign Henry and trade for Hurst, I would be really happy. I'm not sure how this would work out with the salary part though.

Get Hayden Hurst NOW! How many TE's would not play behind Mark Andrews? Hurst is a very talented TE who has everything you would want at the position.
