If you make the playoffs, you're close. We have Wilson next year we're winning 10ish games. That's close. I don't even like him (something about him just annoys me) or watching him play (runs around too much behind the LOS for my liking), and I still would absolutely love for him to be our QB next year. He is fucking good. What we have is not even average.

He is better than good SD. He is absolutely elite. Has probably 4-5 years left of great if healthy. I think he keeps plays alive running behind the line of scrimmage. He literally does it all. Runs, accurate, strong arm, smart. Don’t let this season fool you. |

Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
Getting a franchise QB is the only way it will get the fans back and be excited again. Especially after last weeks shit show.
I am against throwing away a bunch of draft picks but after looking at the Rams why not? They have been to two SB's and made the playoffs a couple more times w/out a 1st rounder. Drafting in the first round has a less than 50% hit rate anyway. The other piece is will Seattle trade him? Just cause Wilson says, "yeah I'd pay in DC" that doesn't mean it happens. Why would they move a franchise QB? Seattle would need multiple 1st rounders plus Chase so they could rebuild quickly. I feel we just don't have the draft capital to swing a deal to get Wilson. We'd need to be inside the top 5 and there would have to be a stud QB sitting there that they could grab. I seriously doubt anything happens w/ Wilson. This is just off season talk... |

Yeah and it's not like we won't be adding anything to the defense this offseason. Who says they can't be much improved next year?

So Kyler Murray on the market?
I know, very speculative, but still. This should be a fun offseason. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...-social-media/

In the NFC right now, who would you take over RW?
Dak? NO Stafford? Maybe but probably not Jimmy? No chance Hurts? No chance in hell Daniel Jones? Lol Cousins? No Murray? No The only one would be ARod. That’s a big maybe

I gonna call it now…but watch Rodgers to the Titans.
Green Bay will not trade to an NFC team. When AR looks at Denver and Tennessee, he is building a huge house there, and The team is much better than Broncos

Broncos are for sale . Rumor is Brady and the Mannnigs putting together a group to make an Offer. I could see AR going there if that happens.

Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
The most realistic option for Russ is to force his way out in a few years when his contract expires.
All these QB's that want their freedom can do what Kirk did. Play on one year deals until it is no longer doable for the team. I don't see any of them doing that. Say what you want about Kirk but he played the system and played Dan/Bruce like a violin. So if these guys want their freedom there is an easier way form them to do it. |

I'm not saying it is easy for the likes of Russ and Rodgers to force their way out of their teams. But as someone mentioned it, Brady set a big precedent for elite QBs when he left the Pats.
