For me the two best memories were the beating we gave Dallas at FedEx for the sweep (because I was there, with a friend who's a Dallas fan, WHOO!) and secondly, the hurting we put on the Giants at home. That game was so awesome because everyone had written us off and the Giants were supposed to have a cakewalk through the NFC playoffs, but we showed everyone that they could be abused.

No doubt, the Dallas TDs... But this 6 game run has been spectacular. It restored Redskin pride, answered the critics (though some can't help but pile on now--what BS), and gave us something to scream about, worry about, and cheer about in December and January. After so many years, man it feels good.

The lasting memory for this season for me will be explaining to my 4 year old son this morning that we weren't going to be playing anymore this year. He was so sad, and I explained to him that no one thought we would do as well as we had done, and we have a great next year to look forward to. I told him that Joe Gibbs had made the Redskins great again, and we should be nothing but happy with this season.

You know what? Just saying that made it better for me, too.

I really am a friggin genius.

Second win over Dallas. Everybody said the first was a fluke! the second win drove a stake through the "dark ones" heart and closed a lot of mouths

Re: Favorite memory of 2005 season?

It has to be the 2nd Moss TD catch to win the first game. The 1st score was nice but the way we had played prior to that TD I realy thought it was luck and Dallas was going to win. Then BAM we hit another TD and I went crazy. You could not have drawn that up any better because Dallas and all their fans knew they were going to win that game. I still get a smile on my face thinking about all the Dallas fans leaving the stadium and hearing this going down. All the smack talking in bars Dallas fans were talking before this went down and all those fans who went to bed and woke up to hear who won. I've realy just enjoyed the whole season the good, bad and the last six wins.
