I know priest caught his fair share of balls, more than the average runnig back. I think they spread the ball around to Tony Richardson as well ... so that bodes well for cooley since he also serves as a "tight end"

when you think about it, their WR's were not catching balls, so I'm sure the TE and the RB's got a lot of looks... well we know Tony did ...

Would it be safe to say we're going to have a SCREEN PASS to Portis?!!?!

Maybe you meant that you both think alike? Offiss.

I've kind of been thinking about the Patten situation, and I also believe HOF Coach Gibbs will stick by him and address other areas as opposed to WR.

We really do not know how Coach Saunders will have the QB, whether Brunnell, P. Ram, or Campbell, go through their progressions when a pass is called.

I further suspect one or two screen passes to Portis and Betts. Maybe more!

cowboys and brokeback seem to fit together, don't you think?

Can't join you guys. Happily married, 2 grown kids, 4 1/2 grandkids.

You two have fun! HOF Coach Gibbs is conservative like me, and I don't know that he's changed his thinking in that regard. So I would be very surprised! (We know he hates cowboys!)

We will agree/disagree here on this forum only.

Re: Its safe to say, that Joe is full of surprises?

Where would the Skins getting T.O. rank among the following most shocking/surprising things to happen to the Redskins organization in the last 2 years.

in no paticular order ...

1. Joe coming back to coach the Skins
2. Trading Champ Baily and a 1st rounder for Clinton Portis
3. Joe pulling Ramsey and starting Brunell in week 1
4. Switching to the Shogun
5. Moving up and getting Jason Campbell in the 1st round
6. Joe giving up play calling and hiring Al Saunders to be our Offensive Coordinator

Re: Its safe to say, that Joe is full of surprises?

If we ever signed T.O. I would end up in jail by kickoff of the first preseason game for attacking any and everyone who would dare disrespect Mr. Monk by wearing a T.O. #81 jersey. Heads would roll...

I'm not trying to start any sort of rumor, but....Campbell excelled in college in a West Coast style offense. Musgrave, a WC guy came in and pretty much worked exclusively with Campbell. Now Musgrave is gone an Gibbs has been hyping up Campbell (upping his trade value?)...What the hell, I'm starting the first official Unsubstantiated Campbell Will Be Traded Rumor Hype Myth

pullleeeze.... you are just starting stuff..LOL.. after what the skins paid for campbell there is zero chance he will be gone before getting a chance to qb the team. let's talk about this topic in another 2 years at the earliest..
