Skins will play Steelers in next year's Super Bowl. Joe T was just one year early in his prediction.

I will have to say that I don't think the Giants were a fluke. Ther D was not that bad just had injury problems toward the end of the year and their O should be just as good as last year. I think they will be the team that will chalange us this year for the division. I think Dallas takes a step back and the Eagles have a 8/8 record.

Pete Prisco is retarded....he ranked the redskins 16th and he said the coaches won't be enough to overcome the talent issue....i didnt know we had a talent issue...he put us third in the division barely ahead of dallas

he made miami 8th...i know that they will probably be good, but if gus frerotte is your quarterback, your not going to get very far
Gus isn't going to be the #1 guy, they are going to trade Ricky for a QB. Miami was tough the second half of the season and had quality wins agains some good teams. The way they finished the year, they should be ahead of us. As alot of the teams that are ahead of us. They were better in a lot of areas. It doesn't mean anything right now, hell we could be ranked 32nd for all I care. The draft hasn't even happened yet. give it a rest.

I'm not one to get overly excited over offseason power polls, in fact they're kinda ridiculous.

But I have to take issue with saying a team that finished 9-7 and didn't make the playoffs should be ranked ahead of a team that was 10-6 and won a playoff game.

Re: First Offseason Power Rankings

While I don't agree with our ranking, we still have a lot to prove. What happens to our offense if Moss doesn't perform like he did or goes down with an injury, would we be able to overcome that? I think that there should be questions about us, no doubt. Until we prove a track record of being consistant I think we can't expect much better. The Eagles though? Jesus, come in Prisco!

I'm not convinced Tiki has another MVP candidate season left in him. In addition, Coughlin is too emotionally unpredictable. I think once things get going the wrong way for them, they will not turn around until Coughlin gets fired. I believe this will happen this year because Eli will not make the giant leap necessary to make up for teams stuffing Barbour. All the preesure on E. Manning equals a Coughlin meltdown equals a New York feeding frenzy equals last place in the NFC East.

Dallas will be a threat because of their defense and Parcells.
