Re: Lavar Gone
Lavar could not restructure assuming that the CBA would not be reached... is it possible that if the CBA gets reached he will just plain old restructure his shit? He couldn't do anything to help the skins but what he did... He paid us so he could leave. He gave us cap relief. The market will not be friendly to him... WTF... I think that Lavar will plain old restructure if we get the CBA reached...

Re: Lavar Gone
kinda depressing but at least I never bought a LAvar jersey or the Lavar figure I wanted, It is nice to finally have a decision on something though, I will continue to root for him and Ramsey)if/when he leaves) unless they're playing the skins that is

Re: Lavar Gone
it has to be a done deal as you say or they wouldn't post it up on skins.com. Does lavar seroiusly not want to be a skin??? The market isn't going to give him much and we would match basically anything anyone would offer. why don't we ****ing wait till thursday and if there is a ****ing CBA then we can just restructure this shit. ****

Re: Lavar Gone
Stunned. Any other word for it?
Pardon me as I process this.... -Creates cap space which is good whether we get a CBA or not -We get nothing for a top three draft pick who has real value which is bad. -He apparently isn't as good as we'd like to believe or isn't as good as he used to be. So him being gone is good. I guess there are negatives and positives. I love the guy and can't bring myself to hope he bombs elsewhere but I will be crushed if he becomes pro-bowler again somewhere else. |

Re: Lavar Gone
I hope McCune or Clemons fills his role and does it well I don't really wanna see Holdman again.

Re: Lavar Gone
Does lavar want to be a skin?? doesn't seem like it. If he did he would just restructure here. **** this shit. Lavar is the man... I was going to visit Penn state and dress up in all my lavar shit and I was plannning to get a Penn state lavar jersey.. man.... this sucks horse shit...
This is the best thing for the skins though. it reall is. we might be able to sign some people... 4 million in space and won't we save some more when june rolls around?? If a CBA is reached we can effectively have well over 15 million in space if we try. |

Re: Lavar Gone
so exactly how much does he count against the teams cap with this move? I had thought that cutting or trading him would have resulted in the team losing money to do so. I'm extremely suprised he gave up $4 mil to get off the team after years and years of saying how much he loved this team and it's fans but when it gets a bit harder for him and he has to earn his playing time he bails?!?! another example of why free agency can suck.

LaVar buying out his contract was a classy move. I mean, he has no trade value cause everyone knew he was going out the door and he spent money already in his pocket to released himself. If it isn't working, why stay? p.s. I wonder if Snyder said something to him about sending a TV.
