Re: First Skins free agent report: Clayton

Love Carter.

Archuletta inspires ambivalence.

I am concerned that they are serious about Randle-El. I got that way when Wilbon mentioned it, because it makes me think that Gibbs dropped Randle-El's name in conversation, as it is my understanding that Wilbon talks to Gibbs on and off informally.

I would prefer Lloyd, but again, it seems unlikely to me that 49ers would not match any offer we could make. Of course Joe Gibbs is a real producer in free agency. You know what they say at Redskins Park--Coffee is for Closers. Maybe Gibbs can convince him to come our way.

Re: First Skins free agent report: Clayton

I would rather have an LB or CB instead of Archuletta. This may be some worst case scenario preparation if Taylor serves time.

Randle-El and Lloyd? Say hello to #4 Patten. I wonder if his comments have ticked off the coaches.

The more I think about it, I like the move. If Moss goes down they still have a decent group of wideouts. It is probably safe to say that Jacobs and Thrash are history.

Do you guys think Patten could be part of the trade with the Niners. Patten and a 4th for Lloyd?

With a release fee of 1.8 that is possible.

They should restructure, then trade him! ha ha
