Re: how abou dem redskins
[quote=frenchdiehardskinsfan]hey guys i dont post often but i look at all the forums and skins news everyday cause i live in france and am french and u cant see ball games on tv so i listen to games on nfl.com. This team is special, you can just smell it in the air. I really think the addition of Al Saunders is a great one, i just hope the team learns the system fast. I think the first couple games of the season there is not gonna be a superb offense on the field cause u need time to assimilate it but that doesnt mean the skins are gonna lose because defense and special teams are gonna be great. By week 3 or 4 it will hopefully be at full speed. I think the addition of carter and mckintosh on defense is gonna make it even better. I was just wondering what was gonna happen with brunell and campbell. Brunell gona be the sarter but should we give campbell a shot in some games this year so that we can see wat he's made of. He was a great qb in auburn. please do tell me wat u think about the qb situation and wat u suppose the record is gonna ba .
Greetings Frenchie! I think you pretty much nailed it. It's a great time to a SKINS fan! I am old enough to have lived through Joe's previous tenure and "the glory years". I believe you are correct................there is someting in the air. A feel of excitement...........destiny. Good to have you on the WP! Brunell is the man until Joe has complete confidence in JC (or Brunell goes down). To be perfectly honest, I don't have a politically correct bone in my body, and I laughed my ass off over Mheisig's post.

If he wanted to mock our inefficient and corrupt government or make fun of my American ways I wouldn't get my panties all in a bunch, so I fail to see the big deal. I'm glad those of you who are more relaxed enjoyed the humor though. Malcom, are you in the Knoxville area often? The Old City is a pretty decent place to hang, all around good atmosphere.

I don't think this dude is a frenchie, he just has the displeasure of living there. Hopefully, he can act as an Ambassador of the Warpath for us all, and show them Frenchies how to win something - the Gibbs way!

Don't think for a minute that he wins the starting job permanently from an injury. Brunnell is the starter, and even if JC steps in and wins, JC will sit upon Brunnell's return. Gibbs will be happy to let JC's confidence muster while he's back on the pine. It's really the safest place for him. Any experience he gets this year will just be gravy.

Re: how abou dem redskins
Since Frenchie made his introductory post, I'll go ahead and make mine (figure the new dudes will commandeer this thread, viva la revolution!). Been a skins fan all my life, actively cheered on them on since before I could remember. In my family, you are either a Skins fan or a cowboys fan, and I chose the Skins. I don't know why I did at the time, but i do now. The boys are all about flash and ego and accomplishing feats as an individual and the skins seem to be about the team, dedication and class. I am too young to remember the glory days, so I've never known a time like this (as far as the skins go) but damn, doesn't this feel exciting?! As far as the media, f- them. They will always have their pocket favorites, and they'll always predict the fashionable teams at the time but it's like predicting the weather, the best way is by feeling and even then, you only know what's in store for the next day or two. Just my thoughts.
