BSB, if Smoot blitzes the first play, I owe ya a cookie.

Did the NFL change the rules to 12 guys on the field? We DO need 5 linemen....

QB kneel or fake QB spike are the only two plays I can see coming

Re: New thread: First offensive series, first play, whats the call?

Portis, Cooley, Fauria, Moss, and Lloyd in the game. Moss goes in motion, returns to cut Udeze at the snap as Jansen and Thomas pull to run counter trap left. Portis gets 12 before being pushed out by Smoot.

But since that's not fun...

Moss, Lloyd, and Randle El at the recievers, Cooley at H, and Portis in the backfield. Portis motions weak side (with moss) and sets a beautful block for Cooley who takes the ball on an end around, breaking 8 tackles and going for the TD.

Splitback formation, Cooley goes in motion to the far size....toss right to Clinton Ports....No its a reverse to Antwan Randel El....No he's looking to throw it, he's got Moss in the Clear, he makes the catch , 30, 20, 10 , 5 , Endzone....Touchdown, Washington Redskins.

not to bust balls, but it's Frank Herzog, and he's still 100 times better than Larry Michael.

Split backfield (Portis, Cooley), trips left (Moss, Randle El), TE lined up on right side.

Motion into I formation.

Play action the counter trey into a bomb thrown to either Moss (Fly pattern) or Randle El (Post pattern) for 6.

Re: New thread: First offensive series, first play, whats the call?

Shotgun, Trips right. Moss on the left. At the snap;

Lloyd runs a Hitch while the other WR's clear out. As Campbell delivers to Lloyd on the hitch, moss runs a drag behind Lloyd (from the left). Lloyd latterals it to a sprinting moss who is followed by a delayed portis as an another latteral option. Touchdown.

The ole' Hitch 'N Pitch WR option. Sickest play ever.

Re: New thread: First offensive series, first play, whats the call?

you know it's the offseason when your talking about what you think the first play of the season should be lol.

Anyways, i think it's gonna be a handoff, left side to portis, with randy thomas pulling.
