Hell of a 2500th man. Keep Hope Alive and prayers go out to your mother to (with the help of new coordinator Al Saunders) beat that tumor.

Man I swear I read this thing about 5 times. You, your family, and your wonderful mother will be in my prayers. Tell your mom that she HAS to get better because she has a Super Bowl victory to celebrate in February !!!
Keep your head up Brud !

Re: Why I Love the Washington Redskins - A Brief Essay
great post.....you could have said it better. I blame my parents for making me a redskin fan lol. i was sitting in front of the tv watching the 'skins with my dad at age 3. went to my first game at rfk at age 6. I love my redskins win lose or draw....I am starting to work on my 3 year old. she loves to watch me play football on xbox. I took her with me to redskins training camp last year in a redskins cheerleader outfit....she was on channel 4 's news as the youngest redskin fan.

Re: Why I Love the Washington Redskins - A Brief Essay
Brud, great thoughts and my thoughts are with you and your mom as well. We are about the same age and I lost my mom to cancer about 6 years ago. Your essay reminded me how "down in the dumps" I was when Spurrier walked out on us and I wondered like you "Who in the world would possibly want to come to Washington now!!!?" It is amazing how I have long since forgotten those memories of "lost hope" and how Gibbs has brought them back. What a wonderful time to be a Redskins fan! I'm praying for your mom.

Re: Why I Love the Washington Redskins - A Brief Essay
Awesome post! MY thought and prayers are also with you mother. I love being a redskins fan. Somehow to me they seem like the team in the NFL that still has morals. Sure sometimes we goof (ST) but there are no TO's round here. I was bred to be a redskins fan by my grandfather. I somewhat remeber watching the last SB win when I was like 6 or 8. Now my kids are diehard fans! The tradition contunues.
