Re: Old QB George to Raiders, Collins to Titans
Sometimes, you just can't make up good headlines.
I think Collins to Tennessee is the worst of the two signings IMO. George is pretty terrible though. |

George's age doesn't shock me, the fact that someone else is giving him a chance does. We shouldn't have even given him a chance, he was washed up after his few decent years in Atlanta. I was wondering why Collins didn't have a job. He's better than a lot of backups in the NFL. I've heard he COULD challenge for the #1 job in Tennessee. Wow, he's played for a lot of teams: Indy Atlanta Oakland Minnesota Washington Chicago Oakland |

Jeff George reminds me of a quote from Bull Durham,

Re: Old QB George to Raiders, Collins to Titans
G. Foreman came back in his 40's and made a pretty big splash in the boxing world. He won like 15 fights lost two title fights and then won the heavy weight title in around 1995 at the age of 45. It will be intresting to see if George will make the team and if he does could he ever see the field. The few teams he has been on late in the season he never had a chance but with some time to learn the system someone could get hurt and here comes George.

Re: Old QB George to Raiders, Collins to Titans
He'll be throwing those beautiful 7 yard darts into the turf and then blaming the PA announcer that his voice was too loud, affecting his ability to perform. He single handedly LOST games for us. I'm glad he's going to the raiders. I hate the raiders and their fu*ked up fans. I wonder how many #3 raider jerseys with darth vader helmets we'll see in the stands.
