I am just happy to see Coach Gibbs back on the sidelines. Now I know anything is possible.

I'd like to see Ade Jimoh become a top CB in the NFL. We need a CB with size now that we have T.O. and Me-Shawn Johnson in the NFC east. Did anyone notice that Ade Jimoh is listed on the roster at www.redskins.com site at 6'-1" and 245 pounds.?.? Has he been super-sizing this offseason?
www.nfl.com's main player list has him at 190 pounds. |

why does everyone like ade jumoh so much? All i remember him doing is gettin burned every time, and gettin benched for the rest of the season after the new england game.

Ade Jimoh is nearly as big as LaVar?? And the same size as Barrow??
Anyway, Jimoh is like that walk-on scrub at the end of the bench on college basketball teams that plays the final 1:15 of a blowout and everyone goes nuts just to see him there even though he airballs or bricks every shot. Jimoh is our own walk-on scrub. Plus, it's just fun to rally around him since we have the founder/president/sole member of his fan club on the warpath, Ade Jimoh Fan Club. Maybe if someone had the username Andre Lott Fan Club we'd rally around Andre Lott as well.

1. Ade Jimoh Fan Club is freakin' hysterical. 2. Getting burned like he did, we'd all like to see him do better. Given the coaches last year, I can't entirely blame him. 3. Who doesn't like the possibility of a good success story when you know the odds are stacked against him? 4. Lastly and probably most importantly to me, I've always been the kind of person to root for the underdog and stick up for for guys who are maligned. I thank my Mom for that value and am damn glad to have it. He fits the bill to a tee.. undrafted rookie, made the team, and got burned early in the season when maybe he should not have been in the position to get burned. He was ripped by anyone and everyone. Point being, yeah, he had a rough time last year. But there's no reason not to root for him now! GO ADE!!!!

Things that will make me smile:
1. At least ten wins. 2. A playoff birth. Everything else is icing on the cake. |
