Re: Jevon Kearse

Just need to draft a solid DE that can be coached up.

I think this is Burgess' second year with Oakland. Think he came from Philly.......and the Raiders paid him too.....some say overpaid.

Re: Jevon Kearse

Sure sign everbody.

It's not like theres a salary cap to hinder any of these signings.

Hey did anyone ever hear of the draft, supposedly some teams actually get players with talent from these so called colleges, just a thought.

Re: Jevon Kearse

I really doubt we'd go after Kearse. Very injury prone, and we passed on him once already.

Re: Jevon Kearse

draft has 1-2 1st round DTs and 4 1st round DEs, including two that have a shot to go in the top 5-10 range (gaines and moses)... even with the learning curve, i think that's really the best way to go... crosby at Kicker would be great too, but we won't really have a shot at him.

Re: Jevon Kearse

I wonder where we ARE going to go with our first round pick. Say we have the cash to sign Nate Clements and fill our CB need, where do we go next? I think our offense (hopefully) is set with Jason Campbell. I'm thinking stud DT since Griffin and Joe aren't exactly young anymore. Griff is in his prime, but I also wonder about how Golston and Montgomery would be with another year under their belts.

Yeah with Golston and Montgomery I don't see DT has a major need, Golston especially seems like he may be starting material next year.
