Buck Ortega!
I think early on someone like a James Thrash who always knows where to be is a young QB's best friend/fave receiver

Re: Who will be JC's favorite receiver??
i was talking with someone via AIM today and theyre thinking patten also gets some looks. if he spreads the ball around like romo does (even though i hate that little bastard) were going to be fine. our WRs are INSANE playmakers.

Re: Who will be JC's favorite receiver??
I think right now the most important pass will be the quick slant/dump off. Teams are going to be blitzing the hell out of JC, and he's got to hit his hot routes.
So far I haven't been impressed by the play calling by Saunders. We need more than a Betts swing under pressure, and hopefully Campbell has a new gameplan. JC's fav, will be Cooley.

Re: Who will be JC's favorite receiver??
honestly ill TAKE a quick slant. those are going for decent yardage and theyd go even further if brunell could hit them in STRIDE.

How about the guy with the team receiving record. Seems like a decent choice.

Re: Who will be JC's favorite receiver??
That's how a favorite target becomes a favorite, by getting open, and making plays. For a young QB starting his first game in the NFL to go into a game thinking about a favorite target would be odd, one will have to emerge.

Re: Who will be JC's favorite receiver??
Cooley...he can get open and has good hands...and will be a good safety valve. if i must pick a WR, moss is the easy choice...

Re: Who will be JC's favorite receiver??
good thread
it's probably going to be moss, simply because he's so clearly above the rest of the WR corp. cooley and thrash should help him settle in though. |

Re: Who will be JC's favorite receiver??
Pick a guy, any guy, as long as it's not a RB on a swing pass.

He emerged as Brunell's favorite.
