Do you still have to blow the dust out of the bottom of the cartridge? Speaking of which, does anyone remember the trick everyone had for their nintendo or sega when it didn't work? Sorry...didn't mean to hijack the thread.

Oh yeah. Funny thing is, each nes was different. There were blowers, stackers, slammers, etc. But, that was cool. You had to work to play your game.

Ah, the old days ...

I was big on blowing into the game and stacking another game on top. I had the magic touch when it came to getting most games to work.

You had a stacker, eh? Mine was a slammer ... you had to put the game in about 3/4 of the way and push down while pushing in. It would slam into place, and that would usually do the trick (after blowing into it, of course).

LOL sometimes you had to do the blow, slam and stack. Those were the really tough games.

Re: My 360 bit the dust ALREADY

Alright im gonna send this in a different way totally but with the old game consoles they were given stress tests witha sledge hammer. PS2 broke first with 2 swings but the gamecube and XboX survived. Then the consoles were dropped 30 feet on concrete and only the Game Cube survived, but really just becuase it was a light piece of shit.

Ah yes. I call that The Triple Lindy ... used only in times of great desperation.

The one with the blue and yellow teams?

I hated that dance and "cheering" with TDs, but that game IS a classic. The sounds when you threw a pass and when the pass was caught were wacky too.

I still have it and played it not too long ago. I remember running up scores higher than the scoreboard would count, so I'd have to keep track of the score in my head. I'd score about 200 pts a game!

If anyone is going to buy one of these, buy the protection plan where you buy it. I'd go buy a PS3 but I've already invested alot in equip and games for the 360...
Microsoft just retroactively extended the warranty on the Xbox 360 to 1 year. So, if you bought it in 2006, you are covered.
