Not only that, if a player has shown to be solid the entire time he's been here and he BASICALLY takes a pay cut to stay on the team, he'll ALWAYS get my vote of confidence. Sure, he has to account for his contributions, but given his limited playing time, he was nothing but solid.

I say he's been practically nonexistant.

This isn't really a restructure, this is essentially a paycut. I guess they're technically calling it a restructure because they're taking the money he was supposed to make and turning it into an incentive. But for all intents and purposes, this is a pay reduction. Good move by the Skins and all, but they don't really need the cap room; unless they intend to add a veteran player from around the league via a trade somehow. I can only hope that's what they're doing, and I hope that player comes along the defensive line, because if that's not the case I'm going to be one disgruntled Redskins fan.

This team needs to show me that they've got a plan.

wynn is a good guy to have in the locker room, and he has never in his career been a dynamic pass rusher so if ur gonna pull up stats showing a lack of sacks you arent showing anyone anything new. he didnt even start last year so yet again showing last year's stats does little. every team needs depth, and we now have cheaper depth at DE and keep that leadership

If we need him in the locker room so bad why don't we just hire him as a DE assistant coach.

What do the Redskins need more of on defensive line? Motivation or Sacks...I choose the latter.

It is so obvious what our most glaring need is, and we just flat out ignore it. I'm sure you'll hear other FO types around the league, under condition of anonymity, ripping us yet again. What are we thinking?? I'm optimistic about every position on our team except this stupid DL.

You know I am right there with you concerning the DL...but after some of these moves, I really feel they know something we don't. We are creating room to sign someone...so while I am upset that I didn't get the guy we wanted, we very well could get a sud after June 1st to be our DE. We better anyway, otherwise our DL is one of the worst in the league.
