I know Cowher has been discussed ad nauseaum, my point was that I am tired of mods carping about what should or should not be threads. We cant read thier minds as to what they think is thread-worthy. If mods only want what they feel is thread-worth material to become a thread then put out a list of allowable thread topics, otherwise stop complaining about what they feel is not a thread topic.

WOW we are 5-3 and talking like Gibbs is gone and in the front office already. How about we let the season play out and see if Gibbs will be coming back. Enough of this Gibbs bashing already. Its being discussed because after 3.5 years we are nowhere close to being a dominant team.

My only issue with blowing up the coaching staff is that it will only increase Campbell's learning curve if he's forced to learn a new system after next season. If that happens, I hope that we have the forsight to bring in an O-coordinator from the Coryell/Gibbs/Turner coaching tree to run the offense, since the terminology and concepts will be much the same.

I'm not going to read this thread, but I did read the first page. I don't really want to participate, but I will say this: 3.5 years is all the time necessary to be a "dominant" team? Lower your expectations, and wake up to reality. It takes a decade or more to make a dominant team. Look at NE, IND, and PIT.

The PRIMARY reason we are not dominant is the impatience in our organization and fan-base, IMO.

There is no "approved list" on what should/should not be threads. I just personally fail to see why this is being discussed now

No someone saw him on TV last night getting all up in the players face spitting all over them as he was pumped with their play. I guess. I have never understood this notion that a coach has to be running around like a mad man to be a tough great coach. All you have to do is look back at last years SB winners and their coach.

Cohwer is the Steelers coach and always will be...I don't want someone elses coach. Besides Gibbs has 1 more year on his contract...there is plenty of time to discuss the new coach when OUR coach decides it's time to retire.
