i could care less who lines up across from the skins. all i know is that they will be wearing those ugly ass Dallas road uniforms. and that i, as a loyal skins fan, hate their guts. to para phrase Sam Wyche, " die you dogs, die" and to quote dblanche, Dallas sucks!

Well thanks to the Bears it officially makes this season finale a "punt game".
Owens will not play, he will get 3 weeks to heal that ankle sprain.

Gurode and Romo probably will sit as well. Barber will get limited carries and Tyson Thompson will most likely get a lot of playing time.

Although, it is highly possible that Terry Glenn will make his season debut, so we MIGHT see Romo in the first quarter.

I can promise you that the coaching staff will be treating this like a preseason game.

A punt game for Dallas who has secured the #1 seed in the playoffs. Washington will win this game. Then they will have to earn the right to come to Texas Stadium and play a real game.

all i,m going to say is dallas is on the schedule and thats who the skins need to worry about and prepare for only.....your right dallas has it all locked up and they deserve it but come january and a possible visit to texas stadium in the playoffs would be extra special to an already heated rivalry.

i,m seeing the boys play their starters for a half at least..

What did the Chargers do last year when they clinched homefield and a 1st round bye? I bet Wade Phillips will do the opposite, since San Diego ended up loosing to B More at home after the bye.

I kinda feel like San Diego rested their starters. If thats the case I see Wade keeping everone whos not hurt in the whole game, maybe Romo only half the game.

That being said the early word seems to be that Dallas will rest most of their key guys. Makes sense for them, they have absolutely nothing to play for.

There's no way he plays his starters very long no matter what the score. They have nothing to gain by playing their starters.

The key quote is this "Whoever we have in there we feel like we can win with."

That means look for the backups to see significant action.

The biggest thing they have to play for is 14 wins, which would be a franchise record. Jerry Jones would love to do that I'm sure.

I see them playing tough for a half, but not having much intensity in the 2nd half. If we can't grind it out & play ball control O in the 2nd half, we don't deserve it anyway.

I do see Dallas' O having some incentive to play hard w/Johnson & Glenn in there.

Part of me wants to see Dallas but their first team out there so we can beat them streight up. The other half says if they wat to rest their guys then great if it makes an easier win for us. I would love to see the Skins have this game wraped up in the first half and just have fun playing in the second. Less stress on us fans and team!!!

Honestly I'm not sure it would matter who Dallas plays and for how long, if only because of the way the Cowboys will prepare for this game and the mindset of the players coming in to it.

The players know this is basically a preseason game for them and they're just not going to come in to this game hungry and ready to go for a full 4 quarters. Meanwhile for the Redskins the entire season is on the line.

At this time of year the team that needs the game more typically wins. And I think a lot of that is due to the mental aspect of the game. If a team doesn't need the game, they just don't approach the game in the same manner.

The Skins should be fired up and ready to rock in this one, and Dallas could come out flat. That's no fault to them though, they've earned the right to rest their starters.

If the Skins were in the same situation, I would fully expect Gibbs to maybe play the starters for a series or two and then pull them out. No need to risk any key injuries.

It's skins-boys--anything could happen. And even Dallas's backups are good, and psyched to show they deserve time. As mentioned, Brad Johnson always gives us fits--he's not going to make the sorts of mistakes that Eli and and the vikes QB made.
