Joe Gibbs is Mr December. Of course, he's also Li'l Miss November - the month where we get owned every year. Either way, couldn't be happier for Ole Joe and skins fans! Happily eating crow at the moment.

I too, like many of you, had serious doubts not long ago. Who wouldn't have after tragedy, blundered calls, injury after injury, etc., struck our team. But, I'm extremely pleased that my doubts have been proven wrong. I predicted a 9-7 season, long before the injuries, and more importantly, before tragedy. Yet it amazes me that the Redskins have risen from such adversity. Maybe God has determined that we have all suffered long enough and that it is time for some healing. On to the playoffs! Who'd have thought this possible a month ago?

On the one hand, I would like to go back and complie a list of all the Warpathers who have demonstrated a lack of faith in varying degrees, but I am in a forgiving, magnanimous mood. Kill the fatted calf and all that stuff. Everyone is welcome back as far as I'm concerned. Well, almost everyone. Some men you just can't reach, but we won't worry about them today.

HEY!!!!!!!!!!! You presume ALOT... never left being a Redskin fan.... just didn't believe the team was there yet. I still don't think they are a Super Bowl contender (but anything can happen in the playoffs)... I do think they have shown me something and I think we are on the right track.

Dude, don't sweat it. I was with you during the season. I love the Skins, but doubts creeped into my head after they dropped several close games. These last four games, they look dominating. Where was that all year? The real question is: If Collins takes them deep into the playoffs and possibly the Super Bowl, who is the starting QB next year?

Repeat after me:

Hail to the Redskins
Hail Vic-tor-y
Braves on the Warpath
Fight for old D.C.
Run or pass and score -- we want a lot more!
Beat 'em, Swamp 'em,
Touchdown! -- Let the points soar!
Fight on, fight on 'Til you have won
Sons of Wash-ing-ton. Fight!, Fight!, Fight!
Hail to the Redskins
Hail Vic-tor-y
Braves on the Warpath
Fight for old D.C.

About 62,000 times.......or at least 21 times

I'll man up and say I was wrong for calling for Gibbs head after the Bills game. This run was an indication of what some people said right after Taylor's murder, that this may be the reason he came back. Imagine if we had Billick or Parcells or some other self involved blowhard as a coach. Other than maybe Jeff Fisher or Tony Dungy, I can't think of anyone else who has the class and character to guide us thru this past month.
