Re: Muhsin Muhammad
Berrian's the real deal. Muhammad never was. Bryant Johnson is not a bad suggestion seeing as he's been stuck behind two premier wrs in Arizona.

Re: Muhsin Muhammad
Good player, decent receiver, but remeber the talent means a whole lot name than the name, it seems he has lot his touch and he is getting a little old, so I think that if we take him, he will be worthless to our money. OCHO CINCO

Re: Muhsin Muhammad
I still say we go for BB and think he will be a great addition, "Without Having to give much if ANYTHING up"! The guy is young, 3 years in and has a great upside.

Re: Muhsin Muhammad
Think I would bring him in for a work out. Let the coaches tell us he's done! Look at what Amani Toomer did for the Giants? He's old and slow I think the Moose still good and I like his toughness over the middle for Campbell. We don't need any flashy new egos. Either draft a WR or pick up big veteran, that's it!!

Re: Muhsin Muhammad
Muhsin Muhammad is old, so is Jerry Porter, so I'm sorry but if anyone brings up any of them as options you are not that smart. If we are looking old WRs, we already had them last season in McCardell, Thrash, and Caldwell.
Ideally, we would bring an impact player like Chad Johnson or Randy Moss...but CJ is not coming (which is good, b/c we don't need to be giving away our 1st round pick) and apparently New England learned to not let their best players go, so they will likely tag RMoss. Best case scenario would be for Arizona to screw things up and cut Larry Fitzgerald, but I don't think they are that dumb. So that leaves us with Unrestricted Free Agents or the draft to get our WRs. I think we should consider going after the likes of Bryant Johnson (6'3"/216lbs), Bernard Berrian (6'1"/180lbs), or Andre Davis (6'1"/198lbs). All of these guys are under 30 and over 5'10", and two of them have been playing in teams with crappy QBs, so they could flourish with Campbell. I think a lot of people believe that we can pick up a WR in the 2nd or 3rd rounds, but we know that unless we get lucky and get another Marques Colston (sp?) a rookie wouldn't be an impact. Another name that I can think of is Donte' Stallworth...I know he's under contract, but if he doesn't re-structure his contract he might be cut by the Patriots. I don't think it will be the end of world if we don't get a Chad Johnson or Randy Moss, but we do need to get a good receiver that can add to our group of Moss and ARE.

Re: Muhsin Muhammad
Muhammad's productivity declined last year - - particularly late in the year. Check his stats for December; they are underwhelming.
Bernard Berrian will make a spectacular long catch and then drop the next two passes that hit him in the hands. If Rod Gardner frustrated you, stock up on the Maalox if the Skins acquire Berrian... The Larry Fitzgerald situation is a strange one. Evidently, he has a really strange contract that has him getting a HUGE salary this year without much cover for that under the cap rules. I don't know the details, but a colleague who lives out West says that if he doesn't help the team out with some restructuring, they may look to move him to a team where he can create a whole new deal from the beginning. That's a situation worth watching because Larry Fitzgerald is a better WR than anyone the Skins have had on the roster for the last decade.

Re: Muhsin Muhammad
I honestly like our receivers where they are at. Develop Mix and we have ARE and Moss. I really don't see the pressing need at WR. I see needs at Dline(DT maybe DE) OLine, and S perhaps corner.

Re: Muhsin Muhammad
Depends on how much upside mix really has, we know he has speed but you mean to tell me he wasn't better than sinorice moss in NY??? there had to be a reason they cut him right?
