I am pretty sure Dallas is looking at him, and there are several other teams that could use and pay starting CB money. I doubt we are even in the discussions.

Edit: After further review he is not a Cover 2 corner, but I still believe that he would want to start somewhere else.
I agree. I am not convinced he is much better than Smoot. Both have been violated by Steve Smith.

Anyway, the only way we bring in another corner is if it is for a minimum deal and as a #1 corner, Lucas will make a lot more than the minimum.

Smoot by multiple Steve Smiths.

They should have signed Leigh Bodden instead.

Redskins instead of Patriots for a measly $750k/year.

Re: Ken Lucas anyone?

Well maybe, apparently Blache has a hard-on for corners that get burnt.

I am talking about Lucas, and referring to the Skins corners Hall and Smoot as Blache's turnons

Re: Ken Lucas anyone?

well, anyone who had seen Smoot play last year knows he couldn't cover someones grandmother. Lucas is definitely an upgrade. but so would just about anyone else

no, wouldn't take a look at him. again, living in charlotte you hear more than you do else where. He isn't very good in man coverage, more of a cover two corner. They use to beat this guy up in charlotte all the time, really not worth the look.

I'm positive I'm not the only one who finds this funny?

Re: Ken Lucas anyone?

Samari Rolle is going to be released soon. He's on the older side (33, in August), but he's had a very similar career path to Shawn Springs if all we are looking for is a Springs replacement.
