Campbell hasn't been give much credit in my opinion. I still think he'll be a Pro Bowler. Let's see what happens after this year now that he'll have a second year to get comfortable in Zorn's system.
I don't want Cutler either. We'd probably overpay anyway like we did for CP. I thought Champ for CP was more than fair. Why'd we have to throw in a 2nd round pick?

I think as of now we still got the better part of that trade with Denver.

To my understanding a West Coast offense requires a QB with quickness. JC does not have quickness. Also I hear about how many offenses JC has been in. He has trouble reading more than 1 or 2 recievers. My thoughts are timing is the issue with all the different offenses not reading receivers. I do not think this guy is going to pan out. Plus he has NO poise.

I've been wondering that forever. I mean the one thing you can't find is a shutdown corner. And atleast going by the draft the experts feel you can find a running back in the 4th round. I mean I do believe Portis is special, But they should have given us the pick.

Do you think JC will be traded for Cutler if the option presents itself?

Um...I don't think Campbell is the QB we have that Denver wants

But if the option presented itself, he'd be the one we'd probably have to trade (though I don't think we want to do that either, not at the moment)

You'd be surprised, I'm surprised, at how many teams want The Colt. Everyone, well a lot of people, think they can make him a star if they could just spend a couple of years developing him.

I think it'd be ridiculous if Cutler is brought here. I think it'd be a heck of a gamble on VCs part. Basically if Cutler doesn't work out, VC would be gone. I just don't think any QB could come in and integrate himself into Zorn system's right away. This might be crazy but if we were to get Cutler and Denver's 2nd rounder for JC and next year's 2nd rounder or something like that this may work, although I don't know how much this would make sense.

Yes, a huge gamble... "VC would be all in", but that bet would pay off as soon as Cutler threw his 25th td! The kid has the moxy to manufacture plays, unlike JC..

I noticed something watching that last video, Campbell's feet are ALWAYS moving when he drops back to pass...much like Peyton Manning's.

Although I personally would be tempted to get Cutler, this offense sucks period. I think Jason is a really good QB, but shit can't really be a superstar or even a pro bowler with the crap he has to work with in our WR corp. This shit makes me think maybe Gus didn't have it so bad with Westbrook and Connell. Hell, I would even want Leslie Sheppard of '95 over most of our WRs. I guess my point is I don't think it is going to matter who is the qB this season. Unless Kelly and Thomas give us some bona fide production, even if it is not so big numberswise, our offense is going to suck like '08. CP can't carry the load forever for this team and he isn't getting any younger for all the punishment he is taking. Thank God they did get Haynesworth. If this guy produces, it should be good for 1-2 more turnovers a game. That might be all we need to get a few more Ws and get a wildcard next season. To me the Cutler/Campbell stuff is pointless unless the line and receivers step it up.
