p.s. Great job by Comcast Sports (local DC network) showing a stupid tennis match rather than showing Washington Post Live.

Psh you think a little obstacle like THAT is going to stop the rumors! I'm sure someone will reveal that the Skins are going to offer the Bears 3 firsts, Rocky, and Cooley for Cutler.

In your face Snyder!

I'm glad the Bears saved us from ourselves a la the Bengals last year.

I hope this gives more fuel to JC to come out and make Danny look even dumber by posting a really nice season.

No, here's the break down...

Denver gets: Two 1st rounders, One 3rd rounder, and Kyle Orton
Chicago gets: Cutler, and a 5th rounder

Glazer from Fox Sports is...interesting.

FOX Sports on MSN - NFL - Sources: Cutler dealt to Bears for 2 picks, Orton

so did they think that orton > campbell or were we not willing to give away a 3rd?

There's actually some speculation that the Broncos are getting the Bears' first in 2011 as well (highly speculative though, maybe it's conditional)

Damn, we would have been totally screwed if we went down with the deal. Now JC's future with us is squarely on his shoulders. If he does well, they will extend him, if not, they still might extend him, but not start him in 2010 or 2011. I still say try to manuever for a deal to get McCoy or Bramford in 2010.

If JC isn't our QB of the future then CB is. Unless another in-his-prime probowl QB comes on the market(which happens, what, every 20 years?)
