Massive lightning strikes were recorded in Havertown Pa around 9:37 this morning. Some reporters suggested that a Redskins fan had been targeted. No word on injuries as of yet.

The funniest thing I ever saw on a bulletin board was a thread started on a rehashed topic - an equivalent to a JC thread here. The first response said "this thread is now about ducks" and within a day maybe 2 you had 6 pages of Ducks. Daffy duck, ducks in wildlife, other cartoon ducks, duck recipes. I still laugh thinking about it.

While we are asking why:
Why would 4 kids think it would be cool to go to Iraq and hike along the Iranian boarder? Have they not been watching any news for the past 6 to 7 years. I would have loved to heard that conversation. Hey dude, you want to go to Key West for summer vaction. No. Maybe Myrtle Beach. Na. How about we go to Las Vegas. Na, but we could go hiking along the the Iran boarder for a few days. Hey, that sounds cool. Maybe Tom and Susan can come along. |
