Re: Collins locks up the #2 job, Colt and Chase fighting for the #3
Doesn't he get credit for the TD he ran in?

Calm down Pops. I see you're in Chesapeake, get your pole and do a little fishing. It's good for the nerves. Works for me.

Collins can't throw more than 15 yds. Maybe 30 with a tail wind.

Re: Collins locks up the #2 job, Colt and Chase fighting for the #3
I think Colt really blew it with that last interception Saturday. Maybe he is hearing all the criticism of JC about being too cautious, but you can't throw it into 4 deep coverage, especially in the redzone. I am sure Marko and Chase are the front runners for the training camp hero at this point, but both really looked poised.
Is this karma for mocking, hmmmm. |

Re: Collins locks up the #2 job, Colt and Chase fighting for the #3
This is the right move, Collins is the best of the back ups by far. I really didnt think to much about Daniels when the Skins brought him in, but Im very satisfied with this FO move. Its great to push Colt with competition and Daniels has looked much better than I thought he would. I hope there is a way to keep both.

Re: Collins locks up the #2 job, Colt and Chase fighting for the #3
I liked Chase in college, and he seems to be playing well in DC. I think this is truly going to come to the last game but that Colt has the inside track. I would much rather dump Collins and keep Colt and Chase.

Re: Collins locks up the #2 job, Colt and Chase fighting for the #3
I feel horrible today. All my Raven friends are just loving on Flacco today and who do we have a bunch of nobodies.
You can argue over Campbell, Collins, Daniels, and Colt all you want but in the end we are just arguing over what piece of trash has a better shine. Unless Campbell has a second coming against the Pats I think we are in for a long year here in DC and eventually it will be the end of the Campbell/ Zorn era.

EDIT:washingtonpost.com I stand corrected he said "entering camp Collins was his backup", but Zorn left open the possibility someone else could win the job. Last edited by roth74va; 08-25-2009 at 09:33 AM. |
