It's jersey time. I haven't bothered in these first two games but it's time to get serious.

The Orakpo jersey I was wearing for Giants and the first half of the Rams game is officially retired. Time to go back to the old-faithful, Baugh jersey. It's worked pretty well for us in the past. It's like the ND Kelly Green, it comes out when we need a big win.

I've been somewhat lax I guess and haven't worn any jerseys yet, just Redskins tee's and shorts. Maybe Matty's right, it's time to get serious. I could put MW on like CRedskinsRule and we could put the double dose of Marcus on them, but I got to thinking... What would completely blow the Lions mind to see on the other side of the field? What would strike fear in their heart and make them tremble and weep...turn the Lions into kittens? Yep. I'll be sporting 21 Sunday. This team could use a little confidence...a little swagger. It's time to bring Sean out.

Leftovers from my daughter's 2nd birthday party on Saturday will do the trick as well. Pulled Pork BBQ that my wife makes in the crock pot is always better reheated the 2nd day.

^^^ haha yup i told my lady i want some pulled pork out of the crock pot for sunday too!! when she acquiesed (sp?) i then got alil cocky and said "and you'd better start it saturday night cuz im not waiting all day sunday for it either" . .the second part didnt go over so well.

My wife works from home on Friday, so that sucker's gonna slow roast all day Friday, then we'll simmer it for about 2 hours before the party with BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's Original), peppers and onions. Which reminds me, gotta get some slaw to go with it.

I love Sweet Baby Rays! It's my main marinade for every dish: Fajitas, grilled chicken, sausage sandwiches, steak, ribs, everything except fish. It's the best stuff to come along in awhile IMO.

we should start a thread in the parking lot for all the pics of our food, bbq, tailgating stuff . . . with recipes and what not too. b/c lets face it, i love my skins but eating a proper football meal is half the battle on sundays.

and yes, i love me some sweet baby rays, the orig or honey brown.

If you search on any of those words you listed, there are several threads in the parking lot devoted to food. I'll have to remember to take pictures of the pulled pork.

Last time my wife made it, she let the pork simmer in root beer and some maker's mark. Then put more Maker's in when she put the BBQ Sauce and veggies in. Quite tasty.

My favorite is the Honey Chipotle. And I've yet to find a store bought BBQ sauce that measures up to Sweet Baby Ray's.
