I think the only way Zorn keeps his job is if we make the playoffs. I could be wrong though. The question is, what if Zorn keeps his job despite how the season goes?

You mean what if the season is a complete flop?

Zorn is definitely gone.

I'm an optimist and have not given up on the season, we will bounce back and if that's the case then why fire Zorn?

Re: What If...We Win?

What if we suck the next couple games, Zorn gets to stick out this season, and the last stretch we go like 5-1. Campbell looks great as does Z man and the offense?

I think it gets tough then. All vibes will be different, as we would be winning in the meat of our schedule. Obviously this would be extremely hard, but we are playing the what if game right?

Well the way we look now I would be happy if we even made the playoffs. If we make the playoffs he will surely stay.

I agree with this. Although if he won the division and then lost the first game he would probably be safe.

I feel bad for the players right now. Even if they blow out Tampa (which I think could happen but probably won't happen) everyone will say that we should have blown them out. There is so much negativity around the team that it would take a decent winning streak to calm things down. They are going to get booed at the beginning of the game and during if they struggle. If they lose all hell could break loose...

What then? Do we give Zorn another year?

I guess basically my question is what keeps Zorn here in 2010
I'd say it be based on how far we went in the playoffs. Also we could start clicking on defense and none of that would really attributed to Zorn.

I'd say he'd say that these past two games are going to resonate at the end of the season even if we have a playoff win.

Short of a Super Bowl, Snyder will probably listen to the fans again and fire Zorn at season's end.

These first 3 games aren't gonna mean jack if the team is 10-6 at the end of the season and in the playoffs. It will be distant memory. Please.

Re: What If...We Win?

If the offense starts hitting on all cylinders, I say you have to keep Zorn even if he finishes only 8-8. Blache should be on the hot seat even more than Zorn given the defensive additions (Haynesworth and Orakpo) that have yet to yield results.

I think just making it to the playoffs and he might stick around, a playoff win and he goes nowhere for sure.

Re: What If...We Win?

Just got done with the review and will be posting soon.

Unless Zorn fires Blache or Blache drastically alters his scheme (which he won't) we won't start winning. But if Zorn fires Blache, and we show improvement on both sides of the ball and finish the season strong, even if we don't make the playoffs Zorn should stay.
