If it's Chucky, he's sold on Quinn, and approved the trade, yes. If the HC is Holmgren, yes.

Current coaching structure......is there a smiley for a gun to the head? LOL

We're not going anywhere this season. Now is the time to find out what we have as far as young players go to build around for 2010 & beyond.
I totally agree we are not going any where this season but do we want to give away more draft picks for a QB that has not showed much promise? If Zorn is gone then I want the new HC to pick the QB he wants to start in his system.

How about Alex Boone? Isnt he on the San Frans p squad, sowe can get him by dumping AA or Bastie? He was a really good prospect that made some really dumb desions while drunk.

I was also thinking i wonder if Samuels can be traded for anything?

He'll sign for a bottle of Boone's Farm, brilliant!

Samuels is damage goods right now. So no you would not get much value for him.

I don't quite understand the Washington organizations' (and apparently the fan bases) fascination with offensive linemen who are proven failures. The only theory I can come up with is because people remember their names from when they were taken high in the draft, but in Gallery's case, there's a reason he's #3 on arguably the worst team in the league. I'd rather not have Washington load up with more garbage lineman, that look completely overmatched when they actually have to play.

Exactly. For once we're going to have to play the cards we're dealt and address this during the offseason. Of course like most Skins fans I have a glimmer of hope, but realistically this season is probably done and it saddens me to say it.

That's sound reasoning. We may as well work with what we have and hope the FO will finally wake up and realize that where the O-line is concerned, we need to draft quality linemen. We need good young men that the odds favor being able to play an entire season. We need to draft another Russ Grimm, and another Mark May

I've got no "fascination" w/gallery or anyone else. The thread is more about predicting what the front office might do.

My preference would be for them to keep all draft picks. But if Gallery, or a similar player, could be had for a late round pick & they can start this year & next, I'd have to say that's decent deal. Of course, it perpetuates the old fa/ lack of draft picks & youth, but it's still possible that such a move could help.

I would agree w/you on gallery if it weren't for the level of dysfunction going on in Oakland. Randy Moss looked washed up there & they traded him for a 4th round pick. Was that a good deal for NE? I don't know if Gallery can play anywhere, but I think there's some chance that he could go elsewhere & do alright.

I bet DS & VC would be interested in Quinn. Hope they don't offer too much.

They've definitely been interested before. Can't imagine they wouldn't still be

business aside, I'd hate to see that. I like to see the vets stay as long as they can contribute.
