This looks like a recycled rumor from about a week ago.

Sorry Tebow, but Bradford was always my first choice.

Make sense so, Spago could take Suh and have his defensive darling.

I think he might take McCoy before Suh

and I still think Okung goes to the Lions

and I could be wrong on both counts

The Philadelphia Daily News reports the Eagles, indeed, have an offer on the table that would send Donovan McNabb to the Rams in exchange for the No. 33 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

According to Eagles beat writer Jeff McLane, McNabb "could be in a Rams uniform by the end of the day, possibly by the end of the week." An NFL source says the deal is "not yet completed," but McNabb has OK'd the trade if St. Louis extends his contract. He is not willing to play in Buffalo or Oakland. Mar. 24 - 5:04 pm et

Why would Philly trade one of the top QB's in the NFL with a proven track record for a high 2nd round pick? It just doesn't make sense.

Why not? They've proven with McNabb they can get close a lot, but haven't won it all. It's not really a knock on him but he's 34 (I think), they have a solid backup in Kolb, they might as well build for their future while they can.

I think we've seen that qb's can play well into their late 30's. 34 is not too old for a QB. Meanwhile Kolb is unknow. Why trade a top QB in his prime for an unknown. Not smart IMO.

i know he kicked ass everytime he had an oppotunity, from all accounts he seems to be a legit nfl qb

It is a Brett Favre/Aaron Rodgers thing. You make such a move when you have confidence in the young QB and you can't keep the young QB on the bench forever, meaning you have to move on to the new generation.

Plus the Eagles are loaded at QB.

How much longer will he be there? How long can they keep Kolb happy not starting?

Sometimes you move on.

Exactly. As the saying goes, it's better to part with a player a year early than a year late. They get the first pick in the second round for a QB who turns 34 this year, and they have Kolb ready to take the reins. McNabb will be a good starter for maybe another 2 or 3 years, then he's done. I think this is a smart move by the Eagles. Andy Reid knows what he's doing. Kolb has shown he can play, and they still have Vick as well.

It will be interesting to see if we take Bradford, or just rob some team dying to trade up and grab him. There will be takers.

No doubt.. for those that say Campbell won't be here more than a year.. well he's got several years before he hits 34.. the Rams 2nd round pick would be great for them if they didn't think that they could get the Lombardi this year
