just curious - what has roy williams done to be labeled a cancer? I'd say T.O. is the preimminent example.

On a side-note, any chance the Skins make a run at Burress? I seem to remember reading somewhere that he'd be eligible for parole before the season starts.

Agreed, Roy Williams is not a cancer, they just gave a lot of picks for him and the team never got a #1 WR out of him. You could make the argument that AH is in that same category, they gave him a ton of money and the team finished 4-12 and he didn't play up to the expectation of the money given to him.

However, this is much different than the current situation, and I'd agree with the original post regarding the word "cancer", Haynesworth is far from it.

If we do not have the moral standards to say no to Plax, let's hope we have the IQ standards to say no to someone STUPID enough to shoot himself!

Burress isn't eligible for parole before 20 months

how is AH far from a cancer but roy williams (i assume the receiver) is.

Yeah roy has been sucking for the boys but all i've ever hear about him is that he is working hard to get better and figure things out. What has roy williams ever done the past 2 years to deserve a cancer label besides not living up to expectations in dallas?

yeah, the skins dont have any cancers or eliteists on our team. no skins players came out after this season talking about favortism and how it divided the locker room.

I cant wait to see Pacman jones fail. This guy is a dirtbag piece of shiza, and doesn't deserve the chances he has gotten repeatedly. I hope his ghetto ass gets served and goes bankrupt. POS.

Family will be there long after the fans forget your name and the luster of Lombardi trophies wear off. The most impoirtant thing a man can do is be a father to his children. Tom Brady should not face any criticism for this AT ALL. He is a proven winner (3 times) and has never shown up out of shape or unprepared. I congratulate rady for seeing what truly is most important.

Great post!! Family comes first and if he's there for his son who's mother is not his wife but an old squeeze, that is even more commendable for Tom.

Re: Thank Goodness We DON'T Have Tom Brady

Both Brady and Haynesworth should be working out with their teams, but until these camps are mandatory there's nothing you can do.

Re: Thank Goodness We DON'T Have Tom Brady

I don't necessarily agree with the OP. Brady has family. Kids. He wants to spend time with them. That is usually noble. He knows the plays. Perhaps only a hand full of plays will be new to him so when he comes back in June for mandatory camp he can learn those new plays. In the mean time it gives the back ups time to practice and the O-line someone to practice with.

As far as AH.... you all do know his home is in Tenn. He has a wife and kids also. Yes he just had a few months off but if he were to be here for the last month and a half working out like the rest then when was he supposed to see his family? I honestly don't see the situation differently. Brady's kids as well as AH's kids are in school right now. If both want to see or be with their kids now is the time cause pretty soon (next month) mandatory camp starts for both and then they are into the season. Yes, AH's family will then be on summer break and hopefully be able to visit him here, but then school starts back up in Sept. They will have to go back. No different then Brady's situation. Except brady is divorced?

I don't like that AH is not here also but as long as he is not breaking any rules (which he's not) then I find it hard to fault or condemn the man. The league, owners, and players union agreed to these rules and although times have changed the rules have not. You know what happens when you don't like the rules.... you change them. Until the league or owners change the rules then AH is only exercising is rights which were faught for by his players union. Of all people the union people should understand this most of all.

Clearly you did not look at my valuable custom User Title. This was witty cynicism at its finest. Tom Brady should no more be cut then AH. But I imagine, without looking that somewhere in the blogospher, vbbulletin world, is a thread and page of a Patriots fans who believe that Tom Brady ought to be at camp first as he always was.

Re: Thank Goodness We DON'T Have Tom Brady

Has Brady shown up for Pats minicamps and OTA's and then gone back to LA? Before we can make a solid comparison between AH and Brady, we need to know that.

Put differently, AH would bother people much less if he showed up for minicamp days and then disappeared again.

In the past he was known for practically living at Pats headquarters in the offseason, so this year has been a change from the norm for him.

I can't believe that as many people took your OP seriously. Lol, it must be the offseason cause people are just itching to disagree about anything!
