Just seems like more of a chance for more money for the NFL if they had deals with other cable and satellite providers. Maybe the other providers felt that it would cost the more than what they could put into it to provide something similar to what Directv offers with the NFL Sunday Ticket.

Then again, I have Directv (although I'll probably ditch it soon) and have never paid for the Sunday Ticket. I'm sure I might if I was not living in Redskins coverage area and had the extra money to do so.

I think it's more guaranteed money. The NFL doesn't like to take to many risk so more times then not they go for the one carrier willing to pay a premium for exclusive rights rather then have multiple advocates making money for the league. Still the way they go about it from video games to Sunday Ticket has always rubbed me the wrong way.

By the way is anyone else scared to death of this attempt by the government to take over the internet? I'm not a political guy nor a conspiracy guy but this sudden public interest in internet kill switches as well as the government seizure of Atdhe has me screaming BS.

I know both the Bronco's forum, and the CowboysZone got letters on the streaming video links and threads (both sites made very public bans on both), never heard about the team name issue, but I think the Broncos forum is the equivalent of ES, and CowboysZone has a very close relationship with the team also.

Why was the domain seized by ICE? I can understand issues regarding copyrights, but I'm not sure that I get the immigration/Homeland Security angle. Shouldn't ICE be finding illegal immigrants rather than worrying about football broadcast copyrights?

I love that site. Since it is European, it is tough for the NFL to stop it. As well, you can check out Swedish commercials during the game and thus enjoy a cultural education event.
