Re: Sporting Events Bucket List
Some off the top of my head:
- A World Series game, preferably featuring a team I root for clinching the championship. - A Stanley Cup game, same as above - The Olympics, summer or winter as long as its in a cool place and I have tickets to interesting events - Watching the Skins win the NFC Championship, that way I can enjoy the Super Bowl from home. - Running the Marine Corps Marathon. I just got into distance running, I've done two half-marathons since December, but I think this would be my ultimate goal. Maybe next year, since the race will be the weekend before my big 3-0.

Re: Sporting Events Bucket List
My bucket list begins with my baseball stadium pursuit. My five brothers and I have been in a fierce competition to be the first to be able to say that he has seen every MLB team play at least one regular season or post-season home game. I think we're all down to single digits. I have the Padres, D-backs, Rangers, Astros, Blue Jays, Marlins, and Braves left. The Rangers stadium is the one I'm most anxious to see among them. My favorites of those I have seen are PNC Park, Wrigley, and the old Tiger Stadium. The distant worst is unquestionably Tropicana Field. That stadium was such an awful place to watch a baseball game, it was almost unreal.
Second for me would be to see a Red Wings game in Detroit. As I understand, it's as intense as a home game gets. Third would be seeing a college football rivalry game, be it Michigan-Ohio State, Alabama-Auburn, etc. @ArtMonkDrillz--good luck with the marathon. I did the Marine, and I'll tell you, you'll get emotional running those last dozen or so yards with those Marines cheering you on. |

Re: Sporting Events Bucket List
My bucket list sporting event would be the Super Bowl. No other game would be able to compare to that. I bet it would feel like an out of body experience just being there.
