Same here. I don't think we should be breaking the bank on a FA wideout when we have a number of young receivers that could develop and we have a questionable QB situation.

Can you imagine a LB group of Rak, Kerrigan, Fletch and Posluszny? But yeah, the Bills would be insane to let him go. So fire up Redskins One!!

How about Qb if a good one suddenly becomes available?

Sure, corner will be a need especially if Los wants big money. My quick hitting list wasn't meant to be very thorough.

Re: How to spend our money?

Let's try to steal Posluszny from the Bills. I think this would be a great investment for the team (experienced 3-4 ILB and the Fletcher's heir to lead the defense).

The Bills would be absolutely dumb to let one of their leaders and truly solid players go.

I think the best bet of him leaving buffalo would be him just wanting to leave. With Fletcher hindsight is 20/20, and yes they should have kept him, but at the time it wasn't the worst move in the world to let him walk. He was 31 years old at the time, and wanted a 5 year deal. Buffalo being a small market team, I'd say made the right decision in letting their older player walk due to their restricted budget.
Not to mention the patriots philosophy of not resigning older players works out pretty well for them. Let players leave while their still good (and get compensation in the draft) as opposed to keep them around until they get bad. Something the redskins never learned (Jon Jansen, Randy Thomas, Bruce Smith, need I go on?).

I know this site too well and I know people will not read my post in depth, I just want to emphasize that I did say they made the wrong move by not resigning him (in hindsight).

I wouldn't go after NNAMDI at this point.. He's 30 and we dont need to give 1 player 50M anymore please..

OLINE-DLINE-WR

Maybe get Joseph from CIN..

Maybe this will make you change your mind on Nnamdi
NFL.com news: CB2K: Bailey, Asomugha shut down receivers differently

Asomuaghs contract will be the same as 3 quality starters in the NFL. Plus, he wasn't thrown to because of Oakland's system. He lined up on the same side, in the same position every play, and offenses would manuever their Wrs routes so that Nnamdi would cover a decoy WR. Not trying to take away from how good he is, but I'm just saying those statistics are a little skewed due to offenses purposefully creating mismatches to be advantageous towards them.

So you're saying that offensives purposely game planned around him? Umm that means he's a game changer/shutdown corner. He's one of the best. So other teams dont do that against Revis or Bailey..... just Asomuagh? Weird

No I'm saying the Raiders system makes it incredibly easy to gameplan around him. Something that would happen no matter who the number one corner in Oakland was (it just happens more with Nnamdi because he is Nnamdi). He is still great, but the lack of times he has been thrown to is a skewed statistic due to the incredible ease of offenses to gameplan against the raiders secondary.
