Moss has matured A LOT over the last few years. I think he's more worried about the team now. I'm not sure how he'd fit here, and I don't know if we can handle his contract! I feel Moss is hands down the best receiver in the league, but Burress may be an easier deal to get.

My favorite is someone asked a question about Ade Jimoh!

Burress is an interesting option. He's a huge target and he can get down the field.

By the skins thinking about getting "another" speed receiver makes me think that they're not too confident that Coles can get back to top form with that toe injury. It would be nice to have at least one very good speed receiver who can get open downfield. This could enhance Coles' play somewhat (taking the pressure off of him being the number one goto guy.)

I don't know about getting Moss or Burress. I think players egos will clash. How will Coles handle Moss or Burress taking over as Skins' #1 WR?

Burress is already playing with Hines Ward, so I think he could mesh with Coles just fine.

I think Moss is a real, real longshot considering our cap.

Id give up our first round pick for moss, no questions asked. But the Vikings would never take that. Moss is the best receiver in the league. We probably cant afford his contract, well with Snyder I bet we can, but Tice usually makes it pretty clear that Moss isnt going anywhere.

he has definitly matured as a player and isnt such a hot head anymore. He definitly plays as a team player. Moss instantly makes any offense respectable. It would be crucial for him and Ramsey to take a million snaps together in practice though to get on the same page, otherwise there would be problems. but no sense talking about htat yet.

I honestly don't see any receiver going anywhere, both would be worth a first rounder. Moss is certainly better than anything coming out this year!

Coles is a speed guy but not one I would consider a deep threat. His strength lately is turning a short route or crossing route into big things with his speed. Now if you get a speed deep threat on the opposite side of the field, I think it opens up more for Coles, Cooley and even Royal, who has shown signs of being able to make plays.

Daseal I have to disagree with you on his maturation as a person, yes he is an amazing talent but that's where it end's, did you see his little TD celebration late in the game against the Pack? As classless as it was I had to laugh I just thought to myself this guy is a firstclass smuck and he will probably never change, how bout walking off the field before the game is over how do you think either one of those act's would go over with Gibb's? AIN'T HAPPENING!

Im still laughing at his endzone dance though. Which kindergarten was he drafted out of?

I think Moss is a perfect example of SportsCurmudgeon's "meathead"

I'll second that.

While I don't think his little mooning incident was as big a deal as some in the media are making it out to be, it was still unnecessary and immature.

Let Moss rot in Minnesota...he is the best receiver in pro football, but his attitude stinks worse than a week old bass left in a car trunk in the summertime...

I point out the Colts game yesterday, and see that type of potential in the Skins...now before anyone jumps on me like a cheap whore in tijuana, hear me out...

the Colts strength doesn't lie in just Manning. He has 3 receivers that have good speed and run correct routes. the success of Harrison, Wayne, and Stokley is helped by Manning, but is also help by how smart these 3 play. Coles, Thrash/Jacobs, and WR to be named later are intelligent receivers who have decent speed and should be running Gibbs' routes in their sleep come this September. could possibly be a second type coming of The Posse...

Manning also has 2 quality H-back/tight ends in Clark and Pollard. Clark made some amazing catches yesterday, and Pollard has been a solid TE is whole career. Cooley has shown great promise, and Robert Royal has Pollard's size, and has proven he can catch the ball (8 catches, 4 TDs this year).

I'm not saying that Ramsey is the next coming of Manning, but the kid has the arm to produce. If Gibbs and Musgrave can get P-Ram motivated and ready to play this fall, and the Skins get the WRs they need...P-Ram getting a full training camp with the 1st team offense could further develop his skills...

And don't forget about Portis...if the Skins can start getting deep routes nailed down...it'll only open Mack truck sized holes for Portis to run thru...

sorry for the analogies...you just get these things stuck in your head sometimes
