Re: The Pro Days Thread

If anyone knows :

Has there been any discussions of the Colts taking RGIII vs Luck. More and More lately there have been some football people saying Griffin is the better choice. Just hoping the Colts are 100% on the Luck Wagon.

Who knows at this point? its win win either way we are getting a possible franchise QB. but if i had my guess the colts are probably 99% going to take Luck.

This was directed to one individual in particular, to see if there were any "inside" grumblings of the Colts having discussions about RGIII. Especially since the team with the #1 pick can talk contract with potential #1 picks.
sorry, should have put Smoots name specifically.
thanks,

thanks,
There were definitely when Polian was there. And some after. But Irsay 100% prefers Luck over Griffin, so I think it's pretty much a lock they get Luck.

Re: The Pro Days Thread

Since we've pretty much locked up RG3 and the Colts with Luck...is there a real reason to proceed with these events?

I'm not afraid of injuries or anything, but what's the point now? Will many other teams even both to attend? They'll just leave with tears in their eyes.

I guess there could be a situation where a team wants to give us far more than we gave up to get that pick... Probably not likely at all, but still a possibility.

I'll take Aaron Rodgers. They can draft RG3 and trade for Tebow as the backup.

They'll have to throw John Kuhn in the deal too, we're not just giving Griffin away.

It's more to help showcase his teammates at this point. And there's off the field stuff they do similar to the combine. Run through plays on the whiteboard kind of stuff.
