Re: Redskins vs Bucs Post Game Reaction

RG3 is a man among boys. He strikes me as someone who won't have the sophomore slump next year.

I'm not hating on the defense as much as I hate the horrible timing when it comes to putting a complete game together.

I'm in agreement with you, but ask yourself this, at this time last year with Cam Newton having the rookie year he had, do you think he would be doing bad his sophomore year? Cause he is.

Yes I would. His mechanics always looked like garbage.

Interesting Ignoring for a moment what my own eyes tell me which very much disagree with you. I've heard two ex head coaches, an ex GM, two highly regarded retired QB analysts and the top draft experts for ESPN and NFLN discuss Cam and not one of them ever said anything remotely supporting your opinion. Plenty of maturity and work ethic speculation, that on hindsight mostly seems to have not become an issue.

He had a good game today BTW. Besides last weeks body language much ado about nothing which is interesting in itself. Eli can spend his first three years regularly looking like a whiney 9 year old who didn't get a cookie EVERY TIME the slightest thing went wrong and no one so much as talks about it in passing. But the "immature" Newton sulks on the bench after a bad game and its a national story. I'm sure its got a lot to do with flash and self promotion of one versus the down to earth personality of the other.

IMO well said.

Yes. In fact worse. After 4 games he had already thrown 5 picks and was completing below 60%. Newton cares more about looking good than winning.

Cundiff had a flat out bad day. Felt like Gano was back.

Can't happen again.

Hopefully that game winner gets him back on track.

Yeah last two games have been bad. Next week is a huge game for us, I actually see us playing them to the wire

Next week, Skins win a shoot out and hand Atlanta their 1st loss of the year. RGIII will have a great game, skins will stop the falcons running forcing them to challenge the secondary, the same can be said for them.

Oh God, I forgot, I'm going to be hearing trash talk all week. Lucky for us the Falcons suck on the road, unlucky for us they seem to have gotten over that.

Re: Redskins vs Bucs Post Game Reaction

RG3 makes you forget he's actually a rookie. Unreal. As awesome as we knew he'd be, I don't think anyone could ask for more than what he's delivered.

Ryan Kerrigan is hands down our best defensive player. Behind RG3, maybe our most valuable player. I think he's creeping into that Clay Matthews echelon of pass rushers/defenders.

The interior line has jelled well through first four games. Not great, but a very solid bunch. Hopefully they'll get better.

Fred Davis is starting to find his groove. You can just feel he's ready for a breakout game.

Trent Williams gets today's courage award for playing at, what, 80%? If that. Good to see him tough it out and contribute.
