Stats don't always tell the entire story. His impact on the teams that won the superbowl was immeasurable, if stats were the only story Emmitt Smith and Brett Favre are the best players at their position ever... Look at Haley's impact on the Cowboys and 49ers and you know he is a hall of famer.

Haley was better than Ware and has the # of rings to prove it. He was an impact pass rusher with huge plays when needed, he was money. Pissing on a team mates or coaches car (can't remember which) did not help his cause. He was kind of a headcase.

Joe Gibbs- The best coach of all time, Lombardi trophy should be renamed Gibbs.

Art Monk- Art was like an OL playing WR, doing the dirty work and not getting the glory.

Darrell Green- Best DB ever.

O'Neal was a heck of a football player . Other than LT , I haven't seen anyone more disruptive from the DE/OLB positions than Haley. Of course guys like Dent , Dean and others were awesome pass rushers too .

I guess getting his face on TV did help him sneak into the HOF.
He was pretty good, I'd agree with u I don't think he's a true HOF. He had a good career but he was never anything that special. I think his ESPN job over the years helped him get in. He only had like one year where he caught 100 passes if I remember right. Maybe 2 but that's it
