Breeland . . . No brainer.
Shoutout to Reilly, he doesn't deserve to be on this list, but he played much better tonight. |

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
Probably keeping press conference schedules and whatnot, I mean if NFL fines people for wearing the wrong short, I'm sure they're sticklers for pressers.

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
Hr wasn't... He probably had commitments and Wylie got pissed when the guy grabbed him and basically kidnapped him into an interview. 10 minutes later he did a long stand up on ESPNs post-game.

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
This is the way I envisioned our defense to play from the beginning of the season. We are getting Cofield and Philip Thomas back soon and expect the D to play better. Yes, Hazlett has the Cowboys #, I still won't trust Hazlett till the defense plays consistently like this every week. This defense has talent and should play like this all the time. The cowboys lack players on defense and play tough all the time, because of Marinelli.
The defensive stars tonight: Breeland (I knew the kid had it in him and is a legit CB) Meriweather (best game as a Redskin tonight) Murphy (he was held all night) recovered a fumble, batted a ball Kerrigan (all over the field, despite not able to recover the fumble) Riley (huge plays in OT) Robinson (knocked Romo out for 1/4)

I voted for McCoy but game balls all around to multiple people. The reason I voted for McCoy because he was basically an afterthought adding him to the roster playing his first start in years and he beats the boys on their turf. Cleveland will make any qb look bad, just ask Weeden.Weeden looked good in the preseason and he played well in this game,he scored more points than Romo and IMO cowboys would have won if they kept him in the game. We had no answer for murray,8 yards on first down in ot then they go to the pass? Stupid f ing playcalling by dallas, they could have run murray down our throat Great win by the skins, best they have played since 2012

Totally agree on both points. I was glad when they put Romo back in, he was rattled all night. Weeded looked like he could drive on us at will. Then again, they gave the ball to Murray a lot with him in. If they ran Murray every play on that last drive we would have been cooked. So glad they put it in Romo's hands. |

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
Haslett, his game plan was spot on. He got after Romo all night long and didn't back off. Maybe his best called game since he's been here.

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
I thought Murphy did a decent job. Had a pass defended (batted ball) and almost had a pick. Good to see him out there.
Would like to see the front seven create more pressure without extra help. Hopefully having Cofield back will help (I'm think he's due back soon, no?)

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
That is literally how we play Romo every time and it usually works. You'd think the rest of the league would take notice.

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
Hidden Gem tonight was how the defense was prepared for Romo doing his spin out

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
I think Haslett earned it. He bamboozled the Cowboys offense which enabled the D to hold them to 17 points. That gave us a chance to win. And we did!
