Redskins 1st Round Pick: WR Josh Doctson (TCU)

Best WR on the board according to some of the analysis out there. Big kid, huge catch radius, can leap out of the building. Considering the depth on D in this draft I can see where SM is going with this. Garçon and DJ are both likely gone in 2017.

People keep saying this but you can't let go of both guys in 2017. You need to find a way to bring one of them back to pair up with Doctson.

Bottom line is neither Garçon or Jackson are long term answers. One will definitely be gone, the other may be back at a much reduced figure at best.

Add in Reed and J. Crowder. Doctson and Reed as our taller do it alls, Djax as our burner, and Crowder as our sneaky slot guy. Could be a pick your poison type of receiving corps.

I think it would be the opposite. Gruden and GMSM prefer tough players who will fight and scrap. Pierre is one of those players.

I get your thinking, but disagree.

DJax was out last year, we got zero from Ryan Grant...he's was terrible. He got back and the Offense took off...why? He's the best shooter on the team and he spreads the floor unlike any other WR in the game. He takes the top of defenses...Ill take that all day long over Garcon.

As a fan and season ticket holder of the TCU Frogs, as well as a lifetime fan of the Redskins, I am ecstatic at this pick. Josh Doctson will be a fantastic WR for the Skins. The whole of his Sr season it was obvious he was playing an entirely different game on the field that who he was playing against. Can't wait to see him on Sunday in Burgundy and Gold!
