2 year at most, he had a great night but we’ve seen Cinderella stories before. I’d pump the brakes on him being QB1. He’s like 6 foot 180 pounds. Will have to gain some weight for sure

Re: Bucs Postgame
Tell Drew Brees to pump his 6’0” brakes. Heinicke is it. If they don’t resign him, I’m quitting the team.

I’m all for 6 foot QBs I’m not knocking the guy at all but I wouldn’t put everything on him just yet. In Ron I trust

He played great against Carolina too. And like I said previously he has a real impressive skill set. Things you cannot really coach or teach. He seems to have the tangibles and intangibles. On every other nfl team he tried to crack he was derailed by an injury or concussion. Coming out of ODU as an undrafted fa it is extremely hard to hold a roster spot when you are injured before you ever have a chance to prove yourself. The one team he was signed on with when he wasn’t injured was the Patriots in 2017 and they had a guy named Tom Brady. There is no doubt in my mind if Heineken went to a power 5 school he would have been on an NFL roster when this year began. He is one of those guys that just never really got a chance to showcase his talents. He did for one quarter against Carolina and looked great. Got a chance to start tonight in a huge game and looked awesome. Im definitely on the Heineken train. This is not Colt Brennan. Lol. This guy is the real deal. You watch. |

One injury was an off the field injury. He had a concussion. He had an elbow injury. None of which lingered, and that is over a three year period. But again when you are undrafted out of ODU it is really easy for teams to throw you out in the trash when you stub your toe. He is 6-1 210 pounds. He will be fine. I absolutely love the way he plays. |

Re: Bucs Postgame
I honestly don't think the offense let us down this game, it was the defense.

Re: Bucs Postgame
I agree, D was contained and why did Turner hardly use McKissick? What the fuck was that?

Re: Bucs Postgame
I don't think we threw 1 screen pass all night. Unless you maybe count that horrendous play design on the 2-point conversion attempt to LT.

Re: Bucs Postgame
Heineken has a really impressive skill set. Nice touch. Sees the field real well. Smart. Extreme poise to say the least. A really really impressive set of wheels. Made all the right reads and plays tonight. Actually has a pretty strong arm. He showed me something tonight. Im more than ok with him being the starter in week one next year. More than ok. Actually excited about it.
That squib/ onside kick was an amazingly terrible call. Not sure who was responsible but it was the turning point. That was just an easy 7 for Brady. We need to sure up the oline and probably find a rb. Gibson might be dinged up but I don’t think he is as good as some others do. Secondary needs to be sured up in a big way too. MLB and WR. Those are the other two glaring needs. Kicker too. But we are not far off. This team is one off-season away and that did not seem to be the case when the season started. I feel much better about the immediate future of this team than i did when the season started. |
