Re: Best Win Ever

Damn that was awesome! I am watching the highlights on comcast right now and shit it is great! I watched the game with my neighbor who is a cowboys fan and in the pisser when brunell threw the last pass to Santana I was screaming waking up his wife his dog and probably made him leak everywhere all over his toilet when I was screaming touchdown touchdown!!!! This is great can I say that enough it is going to be a great day at work tomorrow, ragging all the Cowboys fans. I talked enough shit today that I may have to quit if we lost now I can hopefully have some of those Cowboy fans quit. Have a great and peaceful night fellow Redskins Fans SKINS WIN SKINS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Best Win Ever

I REMEMBER 1982, 1987, AND 1991. This is the best game ever. I say that because, this game signified the Redskins future as a team, and could possibly spark the fire of confidence that we have not seen since Gibbs retired. A Redskins victory in Dallas in such a dramatic fashion made me jump up and down and cry and laugh at the same time. Haven't felt this way in a long time.

Re: Best Win Ever

Now if we can just win 13 out of the next 14 over them, and in as painful (for them) a fashion, they'll know how it feels. That isn't to detract from this win at all, just wishful thinking. What a night, what a great night.

I'm happy as hell, but the fact is we got lucky, just gives Gibbs a reason to keep Brunell in there after sucking for 7 and 1/2 qtrs, but now I dont know whether to blame brunell or Gibbs, where was those long plays earlier? We've been bitchin about the dink passes, now we know brunell can throw the long ball, there was only 2 or 3 intermediate passes from what I can remember,we need to open up the offense somehow, someway, when Gibbs was coaching before we didnt see this dink off, there was a lot of intermediate routes in the 15-30 yrd range, what good is that speed we have in the wr's if we keep throwing wr screens

Re: Best Win Ever

It's among the best regular season victories in skins history, but there are many great post season victories that top the list for me. My favorite win ever was the 1982 NFC Championship game victory over Dallas..

As for regular season wins this one ranks up there with the 1991 comeback victory over the Gmen in the Meadowlands. The Redskins needed to prove they could beat the Giants that season before going on to win the Superbowl, and much like tonight they trailed late into the game until Rypien hit Clark on a bomb off a half roll.

Re: Best Win Ever

Bigger comeback than the Colts against the Bucs a few years back. Everyone new Peyton could do it. Noone believe Brunell could.

I also think Super Bowl 17 is WAY up there too. 4th and 1...
And...regular season: Moseley hitting the record field goal in the snow to beat the NY midgets.

Re: Best Win Ever

Man, I'm just getting home - I honestly was torn between staying out all night and getting here to share this moment with you Warpathers!! What a freakin' win!!!!!

I was at RFK in '82 when we beat Dallas to go to the SuperBowl - this win, in my mind, is right up there with that one. No question!! For the first time in years this team really showed they had heart. This is a different bunch of guys....even from last year. I really don't how to explain it, but this is a defining moment for this franchise.

What a win - I couldn't stop yelling!!!! There's much to be said of Brunell's performance, but that guy has more guts and heart than I thought. After that sack by Roy Williams and the constant pounding from their defense to bounce back and to hit Moss, not just once but twice is quite impressive.

If anyone doubts who got the better of the Moss trade they need to think again. OH, and Marcus Washington - what a heart!!!
