Yea there are so many college players to but up big numbers but whenever they play against an elite college team they are shut out. The great players are those that dominate against the elite college teams. I wonder about Fitzgerald becuase of how I saw him play against Miami, but at the same time Pitt didnt have a second receiver.

I'm starting to agree about drafting taylor but I'd also be for trading down to garner more picks. I've read that the skins r high on w. smith of "the Ohio State University."(why do people say it like that anyways?) he would be an awesome pass rushing de with the strength and awareness to also play the run. I've also heard good things about udeze and it's true that he came to USC as a DT. He lost over 80 pounds and became a pass-rushing beast of a DE. That says a lot to me about his desire to play the game where the team needs him. And hopefully with a trade down we could pick up Grove if lucky but if not a solid safety(the guys from georgia or purdue that a couple people have mentioned) or a good lb that has the capabilities to possibly be our starting MLB if holdman doesn't sign. But all that said I'm starting to wonder how awesome it could be to have a rod woodson type safety picking off the ball and having a chance to run it back for a big play each time. Taylor may not be the sledgehammer type tackler a lot of people r saying he is, but he tackles well enough to get the job done and his hands and awareness will be his main strength. Taylor and Gallery r probably the 2 closest things in this draft to bonafide NFL players.

I am surprised that Winslow Jr. has not received any votes on this poll yet.
My vote is Taylor! Regarding trading down and taking a defensive lineman, Will Smith and Udeze are the only two I would like to see the Skins try to get (in that order). Will Smith has a quicker first step and is closer to the speed rusher we need. Plus Will Smith did more reps on the bench press work out than Udeze did, which implies he is stronger and probably works out more. Not putting the PAC 10 down, but Will Smith played in the Big 10 which has historically more powerful offensive lineman and emphasizes the run like in the NFL. The Big 10 teams, top to bottom provides more of a test to its defensive lineman than the PAC 10 does. The PAC 10 is historically more of a pass first league. while i agree with you on your overall assessment of the Pac 10, i wouldn't generalize Udeze based on such. He wrecked havoc on the so-called "best of the Big 10" in the rose bowl with three sacks on Navarre and his line. I'm not sure anyone has better burst than BKU either.

trading up for gallery is sow... hahaha, can't believe someone voted for it. i can't believe we'd give up both samuels and the 5 to relieve cap space. we drafted samuels at 3 his year, so this is recockulous.

Yea we got two for Sean Gilbert, and Champ had somethign to do with the Ricky deal. I think we traded down to 7 the year before to get champ and give up the rights to Ricky, then got the pick the next year as compensation. So many picks have been given up for Ricky...Miami gave up what, another two first rounders for him.

Yes, I am the only Winslow vote! I say give Gibbs the best weapon at the key position, and fix the D next year. KW II is a game breaker at H-back, and Gibbs is the H-back wizard.
Yeah, I know, the postons will ruin this one, but he'd be the right fit if we can get him in camp...

...yea the Postons did ruin that one. I hope when KWII was at Redskin park they asked him if he wanted to be a Redskins, why he got those agents, and if he would hold out. Id flat out tell the kid that he istn going to get drafted and will have to forgit millions if he gives any indication that he would hold out.
