I think the fact that Springs and Harris didn't play against the Broncos was a major factor.

Yeah, I believe if Springs was defending on that second TD - Denver would have settled for a field goal on that drive. Calling a fade against Jimoh was just too easy!

Well, they were without Champ and have like three rookies in their secondary too. So in that regard, things were pretty even.

Speaking of those rookies, did you see the look that Mike Shanahan gave rookie CB Karl Paymah after his two boneheaded penalties on that last drive? Wow! Even I had to take a step back, that glare was that intense

I felt the same way about the big runs by Bell, but this will not become the norm for our team. We played pretty solid accept on those 2 big plays. I just hope Portis understands how important it is to not turn the freakin ball over. That will land him in Joe Gibbs's doghouse. Stop the joking Clinton and get down to business and start scoring some TDs.

Re: One thing will never change.

I'm not sure how a pro ref could possibly miss the pass interference on Cooley. The ref must have been trying to make up for something. It just isn't possible that he didn't see it. Terrible.

Well the thing is, that is what was called on the field, but they reviewed it. There were some BIG TIME homers up there in the review booth, that's all I'm sayin!

Re: One thing will never change.

we got some questionable calls go our way, too, so you can't blame the refs for the lose. The 2 big runs are what did us in. I wonder if Lavar would have made a difference?
