The Packer have some of the best fans in any sport. It's pretty cool that the fans own the team

Can we please get over this? While I've often disagreed with CRT3, I enjoyed every debate we had and I find it foolish to question anyone's loyalty to a team that has been a perenial contender for the cellar of a poor division (up until this year) for quite some time. We're all fans and we have no reason to doubt anyone else here.

As far as standing up, I'll admit it gets somewhat annoying when someone directly in front of you blocks your view. As far as noise goes, unless you're really short on tact and spouting obscenities it's foolish for anyone to say anything. Regardless on if they're bringing a client to the game or anything else it is your right, and even your duty to make as much noise as you can, especially in critical situations. If you don't want to deal with noise, don't take a client to a sporting event. There's a reason home-field advantage means so much in the NFL.

Thank you... This was the point that I was trying to get across. I was cheering for the Skins (as loud as I could) I did not jump out of my seat for "no reason", the only times that I stood up where when people in front of me did, I did not scream obsenities (mostly just screamed "Come on Skins!"), I was not one of those obnoxious drunken fans falling all over the place. I was just a good fan doing my duty to give the skins a home field advantage, maybe if there were more like me, than the skins could have pulled the game out (thats a big maybe though).

Without a doubt, one of the most intelligent statements I have ever read on this board.

Re: Club Level Sucks!

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...112001497.html

I’m sure many of you have read this article from the front page of the Post on Monday; if not check it out, it is very relevant to this discussion. The thing of it is is that I think both the rowdy and the not so rowdy fans have a point. The last thing I ever like to see at any sporting event is a father deciding if and when he and his 6 year old son have to leave the game because the crowd is yelling obscenities rapid fire; however, there was no greater feeling than making FedEx feel truly unwelcome for the Eagles and Raiders fans. I have to admit, I’m a bit jealous of the Eagles fans for having a stadium where opposing fans are not only reticent, but scared to come there (they beat up Chief there a couple years ago!). It’s a very tricky balance, too boorish and it’s a bad scene for the kids, too nice and opposing fans wind up outnumbering the home crowd (ie. any Wizards-Nicks game where MCI sounds more like Madison Square Garden). Where I completely disagree with CRT3 is on the fact of who I care about hurting if I become rowdy. As said before, it hurts me to see kids with their dads feeling scared about out-of-control rowdy fans (which to be fair to you, you mentioned as well), but I could absolutely care less about the feelings of those who come to a football game to close a business deal, business deals are for baseball and basketball games. You are correct; this is the big money world in which we live and that’s life, but when the fans get a chance to scream their heads off for 8 days a year, give them a break will ya, you're a big boy...

Re: Club Level Sucks!

Ive had club level seats since the stadium opened. I have handicapped seats, so theres no one in front of behind us so I stand and yell the entire time we are on defense without blocking anyones view, its sweet. I also found a way I can smash the seat up and down in a way to make a lot of noise for goal line stands, lol.

And for whoever said they should free up the club level seats for the real fans...well theres still club ticket seats available. They dont count against the sell outs and the wait list. So my friend, ya just gotta pony up the dough to mr synder and they are all yours and you can go and yell all you want.

I said "they should free up the club level seats for real fans", the reason I started this thread is that I was in the club level to "test the waters". I have upper level and wanted to move to better seats, next year. I know there are seats still avail but, after the way I/we were treated in that section, I am not sure I wanna pony the the $7K that the danny is asking me to pay for the next 2 years. The seats are great, of this there is no doubt, but if I wanted to pay a bunch of money to sit somewhere quietly and be uncomfortable, then Id get season tickets to the opera. Also I am not downing the fans who sit in that section who cheer and root for the Skins, I wanted to make that clear. I just feel that if you are going to spend the time and money to go to the game, as a Redskins fan, you should cheer them on! and not hinder others from doing the same. Home field advantage is what its all about, afterall we are 4-1 at home and 1-4 away, think thats a coincidence?

Re: Club Level Sucks!

This thread demonstrates why I prefer college football to pro. It's not the action on the field - I much prefer the complexity and speed of the pro game - but the atmosphere in the stands. Nothing like 100,000 piss drunk alumni and students just letting the other team have it.

Come to Beaver stadium where I went to school and ask someone beside you to quite down....see what happens...

We as the 12th are supposed to give the skins a home field advantage by making it hard for the opposing teams to even think. I will never sit in the club level again! Those people suck, most of the friggin seats were empty cause all of the assholes who own those tickets are to busy in the "walk in humidor" to come out and cheer for their team. Snyder should give those tickets to real fans and get those hoity toity assholes out of there.
The Biggest NFL stadium in the league, and thats the way DC role..........I would love to piss those people off....thats like going to the playboy manison and told dont look............Listen I stay in Texas....you hear me, and I go to Bars where there are nothing but Cow bitch fans....and I never be quiet, expecially when the skins are winning, I say you go again, and next time.. you tell them to shut the **** up

Re: Club Level Sucks!

Club level amenities are real nice. I think the whole stadium should have access to "better" food. However I hate sitting up there cause people are quite blase about the game. Rather talk on their cell phone seated or missing from their seat the entire game. That area of seating is not for rabid fans its for people who pay $119 a seat or whatever it is and schmooze etc. I can't sit up top anymore since I scored lower level seats about 6-7 years ago. Rather watch it on tv at home than sit at the top. But at the top is where the real blue collar or avid season tick holder sits. They go crazy up there and its a shame cause noone knows! I prefer the lower bowl, my seats are 217 and I've seen a change from a cheering crowd in 99 to a 'Gibbs' is back let's kick it old school Eagles game on Sunday night. Bottom line: Club level sucks don't sit there if ya can help it, but I'd rather view the game from that perspective as opposed to the upper rows of the upper level.
