Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
It does seem rather pricey for a 2 game....audition

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
Has anyone mentioned the possibility of acquiring TJ Yates?

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
hes been very average on a team with a hell of a lot more weapons that we have, in the same system. i didnt think he was any good in college, and i dont think he will be more than a backup in the pros.

His team made him the third stringer behind Leinart. Plus he's a rookie and under contract.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
Screw getting blackmon and flynn. Trade up whatever we need to to get a guy that can completely turn us around like RG3 can, then throw every dime we have to get dwayne bowe in free agency. DONE
Then in the rest of the draft get some lineman and CB's |

Eventhough that's a good scenario too, how much do you think it's going to cost us to trade up to # 2 to get him?

Also, I'd be shocked if Holmgren was planning on drafting RG3, he has never ever drafted a QB in the first round. Last edited by Cassadine; 01-08-2012 at 03:01 AM. |

This is THE year that Shanahan gets his pieces (QB, depth guys) for the next 7 or 8 years for this franchise. Not saying we wont be players in FA, we will, but I liken the splash to a dive instead of a cannonball, maybe one marquee sign via FA, and I see that being either WR or secondary. |

I'd take orton with a qb like tannehill to groom. If not then I'd go flynn or RG3

I think Jeffery could go late first especially after the combine.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
Anyone but RGIII. When I look at the QBs currently in the playoffs I dont see anyone playing RGIIIs style. Its exciting to watch in college but doesnt win in the pros. Get a pro style QB for the pro game.
