Re: Skins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Like I said in the first few posts..
Eagles will do what Denver did, and most teams have started to do. Score early, and than just allow Alfred the space. Just don't bite on the PA and keep the LB's deep to cover up those two man routes. Basically bend, don't break. No WR's are open and Alfred will get his yards, but our offense isn't scaring anyone.

Re: Skins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Listened to this piece of crap game on the radio, watched just a little while eating, big mistake since all it does is bring on the heartburn. The season is over, last year was special and that is clearly not going to happen this year. The Skins had a lot of lucky breaks last year, and this year that is just not happening. This is probably an 8-8 team, last year things bounced their way 10-6, this year will probably be 6-10.
Shanahan has been here for four years, this like the equivalent of people blaming what is wrong with the country on George Bush, when hello, he has not been president for the past five years. Anyhow, so apathetic right now, could careless what the team does. |

Re: Skins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
You can start to see the frustration from RG3 because he has nobody to throw to on most of his drop backs.

Re: Skins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Yeah no doubt, if Bradford holds up, they should be in a good position in the future. Plus the Rams have Quinn who is a stud DE. Lots of young talent and extra picks. At some point I suspect San Fran will decline. The Seahawks will be good for a while, but whoever comes out of the NFC West will be the team to beat in the NFC. It's funny, under Pete Caroll the Hawks went 7-9, yet got the playoffs and won a game, I believe against the Saints, and everyone thought that was a garbage division, now those teams are pretty solid and all play good defense, unlike the NFC Least.

Re: Skins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Jeez what a shit show from the skins. Simply pathetic. Shanny, Kyle, and haslett don't deserve a fifth season. Get rid of all of them

Re: Skins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Need to adjust in the second half. More seem routes. Put pressure on their safeties.. They are going to give us the run, and just rally to the tackle.

Re: Skins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
28 runs
7 passes We dropped back 15 times though, and RG3 ran or was sacked.

Re: Skins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
My favorite coach in the NFL is Mike Tomlin, looks like his time with the Steelers might be just about up as they are gonna be starting from scratch.
I would love to have him as our Head Coach. No non sense kinda guy. I think Shanny should/will be back next year, but Tomlin would be my #1 choice. I think Kyle is gone next year. I think both Shanny's will decide he needs a fresh start somewhere.

Re: Skins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
I am so done with Kyle. Callinng a run on 2nd and 9 with under two minutes left? Killed what had to be a scoring drive to get momentum at the half.

Re: Skins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Yeah, might of not been a good call, but nobody is perfect and we are not getting WR's open exactly. Would of liked to see a screen instead on 2nd and 9 to Morris. Bringing in Helu just screams pass.

Re: Skins vs. Eagles Gameday Thread
Agree, but if he called a pass on that 2nd and 9 and it was a sack, a int or incomplete how many people on here would have said "Like the play by Kyle, but it just didn't work". A total of zero it would have been why the hell did he call a pass play there.
