Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
sweep, zone reads and tosses to the left set up PA bootleg to the weak side pretty well for RG3 in the past.
i hope we can run weak side this year. |

Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
Speaking Thursday, Redskins coach Jay Gruden praised Alfred Morris, calling him "Steady Eddie" for his practice habits.
"Just about everything about him is an impressive to me — the way he prepares, the way he works, the way he practices," Gruden said. Meanwhile, FB Darrel Young praised Morris' improvement as a pass catcher. "He’s catching everything," Young said. "He’s on a hot streak right now, running his routes, doing the little things better." Although we still don't expect a meaningful role for Morris in passing situations, it's clear Gruden and Co. aren't going to shy away from him on early downs

Disappointed in Breeland, didn't he see what happened to Tanard Jackson? Stupid is as stupid does. He better get his shit together quick or he won't be around, the good thing out of this is that it open a spot for Crawford or Minnifield due to suspension.

Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
I always wondered why the Shanahan's never tried to develop Morris in that area. Terrible coaching!

Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
So you guys think that over half of the NFL smokes weed? Wow! I would think, at most, maybe between 35-45%.

Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
Given the fact we're talking about young guys straight out of college and how more common and accepted it's becoming, I'd say the % is higher than the rest of society.

I realize I'm older then alot of the other members here but Matty makes a great point .Growing up my family was friends with a few players and their family's and we would go to dinner from time to time as families do ,they were young as were my parents ,pizza and a pitcher(or three) of beer was never blinked at by anyone even during the season .This didn't make them alcoholics or drunks just as a small amount of grass at home should not be a problem .(or brand them drug addicts)

He said the number is very.... high. ![]() He broke down the rules and it's basically like this: There's a ~2 month period where they can test you during OTA's/training camp. You can only get tested once. The rest of the year you're safe until the next season. Unless they catch you - then you get tested on a regular basis for the rest of your career. They're only trying to catch the stupid ones. They don't care if you smoke weed, they just want to weed out the knuckleheads. It's amazing how many players aren't smart enough to just stop for the 2 months they could be tested... knowing they have 10 more months out of the year to partake if they please. |

Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
Shanny's offense just didn't throw to backs much, did he ever have a back that caught many passes?
