Ciron Black is still on the board...he'd be a good one this late I think.

Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 4-7
I watched a few of the videos shown and it helped a little bit.. I still don't understand how we picked a TE that wasn't at the combine, wasn't in the top 15 for that certain position and someone even Mike Mayock avoided making a comment about in his nfl.com analysis.
Another interesting comment: WalterFootball.com: 2010 NFL Offseason Page - Washington Redskins - Team Needs, Season Preview, Free Agents, Salary Cap Now I know we will not trade Cooley, Fred Davis is our future Cooley and we signed a blocking TE. I'm sure that this guy is either projected to be a fullback or simply just "competition". I just can't imagine a guy coming from such a disregarded college football program doing any of form of blocking in the NFL. I have faith in our coaches none the less. |

Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 4-7
I don't get why anyone here wants us to draft a quarterback? The strongest QB class in the last 5 years you could argue will be in 2011. I think too many people cross their fingers for that next "gem/Tom Brady" in the 5-7th rounds. Let's think about it, we have Donovan who will start. Rex Grossman will back him up should he miss out on some games and Colt Brennan is better than anybody we could possible still draft.
Then again, we did just draft a TE?!?! |

Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Rounds 4-7
the 7th round is right next to "ooops, you weren't good enough to be drafted"
Why anybody would TRADE to get into the 7th round is beyond me. The Redskins should have been trading their 7th round to try to get into a 5th round slot. Not trying to move back to get closer to "ooops, you weren't......" I'll slip out and fix something to eat now that we're into the fabulous star maker 7th round. |

Morris was driving dudes into the ground left and right, he's quick, has good hands and throws other football players around like rag dolls.

Alright 7th round coming up soon.. What could we possibly expect? If it was me I'd go full out LB's. After Fletcher's gone we'll have nobody but Blades to know the system well enough to be a leader a ILB.

I don't think anyone on the team is experienced in Haslett's system.
