IMO I would cut Thompson if I had to chose. Kelly is in the mold of a banger like jones....I rather have that duel head between the tackle guys and have a vetern guy like forsett or Hillman for 3rd down. Both forsett and Hillman can handle the workload too if jones would get worst with the injury or if Kelly would fall flat. I'm not confident Thompson can handle that workload and his doesn't run well between tackles.

Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp edition
I'm not comfortable with just three RB's. I think picking up Forsett or Hillman would be a good move.
Josh Sitton was cut because of $$. He is still a good player and he could help solidify our OL. Start him at LG and move Spencer Long to starting C.

Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp edition
Apparently Sitton is visiting with the Bears and Forsett plans to rejoin the Ravens.

How the hell do the Eagles constantly swing shit like that?! LOL.
Kolb a few years ago, Foles, etc. Don't know how people get jedi-mind-fucked by that team!

Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp edition
Sam "Glass Joe" Bradford will do well in Minnesota. They have a better than average defense and a solid running game. Norv Turner will put together a game plan that benefits Bradford, and they will be a playoff contender. Will they be good enough to get the final wild card spot? I don't see two teams coming out of the east. Maybe the Saints rebound and get the final wild card spot.
If Teddy is unable to return from the injury, they will have their starter in Bradford. AP is getting older and their window is closing. Bradford is the butt of many jokes, but look at his last two coaches. Jeff Fischer and Chip Kelly; he should get a pass. Nick Foles was almost a pro bowl QB for Andy Reid. Under Jeff Fischer, he is run out of town. They gave up a lot and Bradford needs to perform, but they will be fine. |

Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp edition
Interesting qb news today in our division: Carson wentz is the starter in philly and romo on the 53 man roster...no short term ir.
Little confused by both moves...wentz took just 24 snaps in camp..a lot of bad...before taking a dumb hit and going down. Lane Johnson gonna be out most likely for awhile and that Oline is shaky already. Apparently Jerry is gonna rush Romo back from injury...again. This is unbelievable, haven't we seen this movie before?
