I will say this -- the playcalling in the Steelers game was atrocious. And to a person, the Ravens fans I know are actually pleased he is moving on -- there were reports that he'd lost the locker room too. Not sure what to make of all that, and he had 12 winning seasons out of 18.

Yes he was an ST coordinator but he's also played and coached DB's so he's got D credentials. Anyway, I agree we should keep DQ but he needs to nail the OC and DC hires.

Mike McDaniel done. I'm guessing he gets an OC interview with us

I’d love that hire, big fan of his as an offensive mind

Agreed, although between his capris and DQ's backwards cap, our sideline will be a fashion nightmare. In all seriousness, he did really well working with Kyle S. in SF and has been shown to be innovative.

On the DC front, I am intrigued by Al Harris (https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/al...m90hc4iuxm9-Hy). Sounds like he may be ready to step up to the DC role.

Come on down Mike.
You don’t need the stress of being a head coach.

This would be an upgrade!

Not so fast. I think Mike will pursue one of the other 7 openings at head coach first. Then, if that doesn’t work out; he’ll pursue OC.

I think he ends of as Ravens DC but as Jamf says maybe he wants to go OC and escape the pressure of HC for a bit

HC not DC

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel

MM never won the division or a playoff game.
He will get HC interviews but I’m not certain he gets a HC job.
Same deal for KK when he left AZ.

This is a good landing spot for Mike since we have a QB!
Put up a top 5 offense and he is back in line for a HC job.

So far. There seems to be much speculation at least one or more might get fired if they don't win this weekend.

Giants-
Falcons-
Browns-
Raiders-
Cardinals-
Ravens-
Dolphins-

8 so far now. Yes, I can see at least one opening ; should Bills, Steelers and Packers lose.
